Thanks for these threads - I've got lots of ideas over the past couple of years. Home bargains have really nice Peppa pig ceramic dinner sets - plate, bowl and mug - for £2.99. The Primark Harry Potter stuff that was in store today was lovely. No envelope cushion yet. I popped into Bicester Village last week and got great bargains at Cath Kidston - oven glove for £4 - and The White Company - girls summer pjs £8, I think.

Last Nov/Dec they did a 20% off promotion I think. It does come beautifully packaged.

TattyBoggle89 I've just bought 25 of those canvas bags from the works to give out as party bags at dd's birthday. Thanks , it worked out cheaper than filling traditional party bags with plastic tat.

Qod - I was in M&S last week and they had some picnic stuff with elephant designs on, including beakers. I clocked it as dmum adores elephants but not sure how much will be left as I think it was summer stock.

I think home sense had elephanty stuff too. (And if it's a present for an elephant mad friend or relative and you need a little something extra, oxfam used to have memoblocks of paper made from elephant poo... Didn't smell i hasten to add, just looked like slightly rustic paper, but was the cause of much hilarity when given to dmum Grin)

Ooh I'm tempted by that marshmallow advent calendar. Got DH the beerhawk one last year and he loved it. This year I'd like to get him a wine one so if anyone sees any bargains...

Also very nearly bought myself some HP pjs in primark today. Will have to request some. No cauldron mugs but they had polyjuice potion drinks containers.

@OhHolyFuck thanks !! On order to collect from store tomorrow. Dd is off to uni and obsessed with elephants. Is being weird about new stuff so I wanted to get some new glasses to go with all the old shit she's taking from home

Iwannasnack I'd buy those HP pj's asap if I were you, I can't see those hanging round until Christmas. Buy them & keep them for Christmas, they'll be gone long before then.

knope2020 it's not much but Tesco have a £10 off £75 (or £5 of £50 and £20 off £150) spend on gaming and electricals do it would be knocked down to £119 which is better than nothing I guess!
