I received a huge parcel today. It had my stunt kite and other stocking fillers in from Hawkins Bazaar. The kite looks about 4ft high in the bag and looks decent quality especially for £2.99 😆 I also got a lovely princess ring stacker, a tiny click clack track among other bits. There's no way I would have paid the pre sale price of £60 but for £20 I've got some nice stocking fillers and a few bits that I'll put in gdg's treasure basket.

I've lurked a long time following causing world war 3 asking for a mooing cookie jar however I'm back!

Got my Lego block heads today, they look great.

Disney shop have a good sale, I got some finding dory plush seals for £2.99 reduced from £18.99

Sainsbury's have lots of toys and games with 25% off at the moment including lots of Lego, games like Pie Face and Monopoly, and many more.

I know it's not as much off as you might get later on in the year but might be useful if you need things now.

And if you keep your eyes out after the promotion finishes, if they have overstocked, you might get lucky and see them reduced even further...

I was trying so hard not to rant about IWOOT and last year. Don't think I ever got my refund(s). Gave up in despair. Decided I'd rather pay the small (ish) sum to never have to deal with them again. And breathe ....

Oh and Costco had their Christmas Panettone and fancy boxes of amaretti biscuits in store today (and some off topic but large and spooky Halloween decorations too - full sized skeleton or which anyone?)
