Matching family pyjamas

Now I know it's a bit sad but I'm determined to get matching family Christmas PJs this year. I loved the stripy charity ones in Matalan last year but they were sold out as soon as they were on sale. Others I saw didn't have any small enough for then 1 year old, this Christmas will be 2 but pretty small year old.

So, how do I get to the front of the queue to make sure i get some this year? When do I start shopping?

If you like companies on Facebook - you might get heads up sooner as to what is on sale

Holidayhooray · 29/07/2017 18:11

Watching!

christmasunicorn · 29/07/2017 18:32

Not all matching but boden has its Christmas preview available here and there are christmas pj's.
This year next also did matching swimwear from baby to adult so they may possibly do the same at xmas.
Otherwise your best bet is Facebook and Instagram for independent companies.

Strummerville · 29/07/2017 18:54

Expensive, but Hatley do some nice ones.

LostMyRubySlippers · 29/07/2017 18:55

I have seen quite a lot on eBay with matching pjs in kids & adult sizes- various fairisle/ Nordic type designs. They seem to be coming from China/ Hong Kong so might be an idea to size up, but obvs plenty of time to get them if you're looking now

Eminybob · 29/07/2017 20:16

Amazon have some

TweeBee · 29/07/2017 20:21

I wanted stripes last year too OP.
eBay and Amazon have Christimas pjs for all the family but they're often from China so sizes might not be quite what you expect and they can be pretty pricey. My DC were 1 and 5 last year so I ended up thinking it wouldn't be worth it as would certainly need 1 new pair if not two this year.
So I looked around and got us all minions pjs! Good thing is we can match all year round and I managed to get them all from uk shops so felt more confident with sizing.
Hope this helps.

You could get everyone matching Christmas Bedding toomallow

Xmas Wink

Years ago I bought gorgeous fleeces from Lakeland for the DC and one for our room (two Father Christmas on a roof and one teddy bear one )

Now I'd just go all out and buy us all Christmas flannel sets .

MarmaladeTeepee · 30/07/2017 08:22

I'd be surprised if Primark don't do some this year, now it's definitely a 'thing'.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 30/07/2017 09:30

I love the Bright Company ones! Not necessarily Christmassy prints, but v nice and you'll get more wear than if they're themed.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 30/07/2017 09:36

OMG just looked at Hatley............ swoon!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 30/07/2017 09:37

Don't think my DH would be caught dead in a 'Union Suit' (aka Onesie) though Grin

PopcornNRedwine · 30/07/2017 09:48

I wanted to do this last year. But I ended up mixing and matching from different shops.

I managed to get young boys pyjamas and mums pyjamas from Tesco. Dads pyjamas from matalan and baby pyjamas from Next.
They were a close match

redexpat · 31/07/2017 20:47

Have you got the wish app? Its like chinese amazon. It takes a month to get here but they definitely have matching xmas pjs.

YourHandInMyHand · 01/08/2017 17:25

I wanted the Matalan ones last year too but only managed to bag DS a set. Me and DP got some stripy ones from ebay but they were poor sizing and quality so I'm determined to be more organised this year!

FireflyGirl · 02/08/2017 09:58

There's been a company called 'patpat' come up on my Facebook doing these, but they only do the kids up to about age 6. Might be worth a look - I'd love to, but DH wouldn't join in [Grinch emoticon]

BendydickCuminsnatch · 02/08/2017 10:53

I've bought from PatPat before, think they're American. Good quality!

Mallowmarshmallow · 02/08/2017 11:11

Ooh, the pat pat ones look brilliant! Thank you for the tip.

YourHandInMyHand · 02/08/2017 15:35

The patpat website shows the PJs I got us adults last year that were cheaply made and poor sizing, so I'd be wary. I've added the stock picture of the ones we got and I wouldn't recommend them. We wore them xmas eve then binned.

DS's stripy ones from Matalan are still being worn and going strong.

Mallowmarshmallow · 02/08/2017 15:57

Oh, thanks for the feedback.

Maybe I'll hold out for matalan search for Christmas on their website every day so I don't miss out

Next are doing matching mum and daughter pyjamas but no matching dad and son or whole family ones yet, however I have high hopes for their Christmas catalogue!

Matching family pyjamas
DandelionAndBedrock · 08/08/2017 09:13

DP refused point blank to indulge my matching pyjama vision, so I bought us flannel-requests tartan pjs - both from Matalan. Mine were red with narrow navy, his were a bit more blue with less red. More coordinated than matching but I suspect with a bit more cooperation on his part I could have found matching tartan ones.

Tattybogle89 · 08/08/2017 09:52

Last year home bargains had matching Pjs instore
Elf ones. Stripes by bottoms and green tops with mummy elf daddy elf , smallest elf, little elf etc. Also had matching pet clothes 😂 Really cheap and still going strong in this house

drspouse · 24/08/2017 14:37

I asked this last year but forget - when do Boden have theirs in stock?
I usually buy for my DNs one of whom is a teen, last year they had them in my DS size (age 5) as well.
And when do Matalan put theirs out?

Santymania · 05/11/2019 14:21

Terrible quality, do not buy
