So as we're half way to Christmas I was wondering what is still being used/played with? Ds10 and ds8 still love their custom ps4 controller and pokemon cards.

Imagine batman toys and ikea kitchen have been used daily by my dc.

Isadora2007 · 28/07/2017 19:44

Yep. Imaginext and Pokémon toys are still enjoyed here.

And the kindle fires we got on Black Friday offers too.

DS1 (4.6) still lives all the add-ons for his wooden trainset, the Orchard Toys road puzzle and his Magformers. The latter proved a huge success and we have added to his collection since. Bizarrely, a rubber crocodile head and a giant magnet are also still popular as well. Far less popular has been the wooden castle which he desperately wanted.

DS2 (now 23m) still loves his Scuttlebug, Playmobil 1.2.3 & a knitted dinosaur. The Happyland trainset has barely been looked at.

For dd (2) her wooden play kitchen & balance bike have been huge hits, she also plays a lot with her baby annabel and her brother's old thomas the tank engine trains as well as duplo. Megablocks have barely been touched.

DS (6) has enjoyed his Lego as always, & he's played a lot with nerf guns & dressing up this year too. He also really enjoyed a quixels set.

Glad to hear pokemon cards have been a hit op as thats on his upcoming birthday list!

My girls are still using their Segways every week which I'm surprised at but they love them.
Dd3 loves her American girl doll, it's glued to her side 24/7. The 'our generation' kitchen is well used too, and all of the Lego sets.
I bought dd1 Ikea drawers on a whim to store her make up and she has them organised and decorated to within an inch of their lives! Definitely a good buy for an older teen.
Dd2 using her huge gym mat and trampette constantly too.

Games wise, they're loving speak out still, and exploding kittens comes out very regularly. We bought soggy doggy for dd3 and although she likes it, she gets bored with it very quickly so suited to much younger children I think (3-4 I reckon)

Kindle fire here too. I am hoping that they reduce the new one with Alexia this BF

Balance bike has been used a lot! Upgrading to a 'big boy bike' this Christmas Smile
