Thanks Woodwaj, I've found it on boots, it's not on their own site for some reason.
TK Maxx always seem to have gorgeous dress-up stuff. If it's for Christmas I'd be tempted to wait till after Halloween and pick up stuff then. I'd imagine that's when it gets cheap as chips.

Tattybogle89 · 02/07/2017 22:04

@woodwaj Asda George online I find best for kids dress up. So much cheaper than everywhere else, and they have accessories and light up etc. Superhero ones are around £12-£14 and are amazing quality 😁

woodwaj · 02/07/2017 22:19

Its a birthday at the end of this month! Ill try and pop in a tk maxx though!

He was a prem baby (although nearly 5 now!) Hes in age 4 clothes but the costumes seem to come in 3 to 4 or 5 to 6 which is annoying!

Were the pj mask capes popular on last years thread? Can anyone tell me if they went down well or recommend a seller?

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 03/07/2017 06:00

I also find matalan reasonable for dress ups

NoWordForFluffy · 03/07/2017 07:45

ToysRUs have now discounted their Lego Classic boxes of bricks. I also had a £5 birthday voucher for DS, so just got the 1000 brick box for a great price.

I think the prices have only really fallen to match other retailers for the same things, but if you specifically wanted / needed to shop there, you're not over-paying now!

TelephoneTree · 03/07/2017 11:15

Oreocrumbs - sorry for not coming back sooner. That sounds like the advent Christmas letters. That all sounds amazing, and your elf door delivery system sounds fab!

MrsCrimbo74 · 03/07/2017 15:03

Totes have got a sale on at the moment, lots of bits, half price, but as an example look how cute these little slippers are, they've only got them in 6-12 or 12-18 months but super cute, was £10.00 now £2.00

Does anyone know how often Amazon run their 3 for ten pounds on paperbacks? The one they just had on seems to have finished but I suddenly have an urgent need for paperbacks!

MrsCrimbo74 · 04/07/2017 12:56

Whoever was looking for dressing up, Hobbycraft have costumes that you colour in yourself. Pirate, princess and superhero, and they're only £2.00 each.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 04/07/2017 16:02

Margarita it seems fairly often...every couple of months maybe?

CrazedZombie · 04/07/2017 17:39

Margarita 11th July is Amazon Prime Day. It's a day where Amazon Prime customers should get great deals.

1stTimeMama · 04/07/2017 20:21

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but ELC have a good sale on at the moment. Lots of things half price, including some Lego and Duplo, plus lots of educational toys.

LostMyRubySlippers · 04/07/2017 21:51

I saw on Asda sale yesterday they had star wars death trooper & also thunderbirds fancy dress costumes, £5 each I think but didn't check what sizes

MrsCrimbo74 · 05/07/2017 11:58

I've got a 30% off discount code for JD Williams if anyone would like it, they've got toys, clothes, home bits, gifts etc. I've just bought a transformer toy and a PJ Mask toy, the 30% off really makes a difference and it's free delivery.
Not sure if the code will work for anyone else, but it's worth a try. The code is GCHY5

ladylambkin · 05/07/2017 12:06

Any L'occitane fans might like to know that Online Pound Store have Au Brasil products for a pound (shampoo/conditioner/shower oil/hair mask/soap) and also 100ml cologne at £4.99. I ordered stuff for myself to see what it was like and it's lovely, so have ordered more as presents for my sisters/sons girlfriend.

Burt's Bees Tips and Toes kit reduced from £12.99 to £8.65 on Amazon, limited to one per order.

Some cheap bits for a couple of pounds at Entertainer which would be good for stocking fillers.

From HUKD website:
From tomorrow, 6th July, Aldi will have their school uniform available to pre-order before it is released on 13th July in stores. These usually sell out quite quickly.
Aimed at 3 to 11 years old, you get -
Sweatshirt in choice of colours (£1.40)
Twin pack of polo shirts (£1.65)
Pair of trousers OR a skirt (£1.95)
They will also be selling leather shoes for £6.99, trainers for £4.99 and gym plimsolls for £1.79

margaritasbythesea · 05/07/2017 13:06

Hello everyone, my first post this year, I am feeling very excited about Christmas this year!

FireflyGirl · 05/07/2017 16:16

Thanks ShesAStar

DotCom Gift Shop have wooden food play sets for £2.95 instead of £9.99 in the sale. I was looking for these last year! We don't need any more, otherwise I'd have jumped at these (even with £2.95 delivery! Grin)

They also have a Christmas decorations sale section!

Don't forget to go through Top Cash Back.

Tattybogle89 · 05/07/2017 16:51

Thanks for aldi info 😁

sunshineunicorn · 05/07/2017 20:55

Thank you for the Aldi uniform update. I bought it for my kids last year and the trousers and polos are still going strong now so it's a definite winner.

NoWordForFluffy · 05/07/2017 21:17

Firefly, DS loves those fruit and veg. I'm not in the market for them now, sadly!

Just bought loads of bits and bobs from Dot Com Giftshop. Brilliant website!
