Ok, I have I to mention it. Has anyone noticed hush appear scarily frequently on the mumsnet swears by/recommends emails? Pretty much at least every other email now seems to contain a glorified advert for something of theirs, often without a link to a chat page recommending said item which most other recommendations on the email do. I know there was a bit of a hushgate last year and a lot of people on here were very unhappy with their treatment of mners specifically. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but it seems a little suspicious to me .

I don't tend to read the emails (bad MNer) but it wouldn't surprise me. I was remembering the other day how appallingly they behaved - would never shop there now. MN stayed very quiet during the whole thing iirc...

I got an email from The Works entitled " Christmas is here!" - I must admit I was all . They are selling a lot of christmassy craft bits, ribbon, things to make your own cards with etc. Looked some lovely things.
