Successful gifts for difficult to buy for men?

There were various threads on this and just thought it worth capturing what was well received, whether bought as a result of a suggestion on MN or your own ideas you don't mind sharing
DH's fave stocking filler was the carved wooden glasses holder. DSs raved about nano blocks

I bought my husband four days in a very nice hotel in Lakes. I also booked a couple of Spa treatments for us both. I asked his pa to book his leave and made sure he was based in his Birmingham office for the day before and after to reduce journey. One of our sons knew and gave £200 voucher for meals/drinks at hotel.

Someone on here recommended a curry subscription from The Spicery. The parcel they send for him to open on the day had the spices for a Trinidadian chicken curry with chilli sauce, rice and peas and a fried bread. We made it over New Year and had a load of fun doing it (and it was tasty too!). This month he gets a choice of four options as to what he's going to learn - he's opted for satay. I can't wait!

He's chuffed with it and we've actually had some quality time cooking with a glass of wine and having fun. He told me it was one of the best gifts he's had in years.

My hubba has absolutely loved the very cheap little indoor weather station I bought him from Wilko on a complete whim. He has loved it and wants yet another one to put in the hallway bc he swears the hall is colder lol.It was only £4 and £2 for the battery , yet has been a huge success . I bought my dp some
Pork scratchings from the snaffling pig and a make your own cider kit. They were good gifts.

Sometimes it's the small, inexpensive gifts that go down the best!

I bought my husband a scooter so he could teach our 2 year old. He loves it more than my son loves his

Ohh I also bought a big jar and filled it with pick and mix from Wilko and he absolutely raved about it I think it will be a birthday and christmas must have from now on

If he's a gadget guy, I just bought mine an apple watch, he's like a dog with two dicks. 😂

For DH a projection alarm clock was a big hit. That was a last minute twitch.

Keeping an eye on this thread as it's his birthday coming up and he is impossible to buy for.

I got mine an inflatable canoe a few years back, we use it all the time summer, had some lovely days out

Not a spur of the moment gift (and not cheap either). However after spending all of December debating it I took the plunge and bought dh a apple watch.

I have the best photo ever taken of him as he opens and realises what it is. It has not been off his wrists (apart from to sleep) since he got it.

He loves it. I think for him this is the best gift I ever gave him.

Wow, I've just looked at the Ancestry DNA test. That's an incredible gift. I've only seen their adverts on TV occasionally and it didn't occur to me that it could be so cheap and be used as a gift. I think this could be a good one for my husband when his birthday comes round. Thank you!
