ive cooked it complete with bag of giblets!!

because the stupid fucking butcher gave dp "the giblets" in a separate bag.

If not melted, you're probably OK, btw. Does the cavity smell of plastic?

I did this to a chook once, and it was fine.

This will be the first year I haven't done that.

I'm well pleased with myself for remembering to take them out. It will be fine though, just smells a bit like hot plastic when you first take it out of the oven.

If the bag hasn't melted or altered in any way I think you are OK as long as the turkey is fully cooked, at least according to the USDA quote I just found!

Don't worry - 30 years ago, my Mum died in November, just after she'd bought a 21lb turkey, which I had to cook for the family. It wasn't until Boxing Day that I found the bag of giblets in it. No one got ill!

My worst nightmare is buying a "whole" chicken and it being literally true, with giblets
