Can you suggest an easy Christmas dinner alternative

Please! Dh is working nights over Christmas (emergency services) we have decided to have the full turkey business when he's on his rest days.

I will be spending the morning with my parents as my mum is unwell and her carers aren't coming until the evening apparently so dad and I will be giving care. What can I make for my dh that's tasty a little bit special and easy?

I can make something the day before as dh would happily sort himself out so something he can reheat would be a bonus.

Dows he like curry? Or a steak sandwich on crusty bread, with fried onions and mushrooms?
