Boring sorry but where to get shredded paper?

I am trying to get lots of shredded paper to fill a large box for a game. Where could I get a load cheap, ideally on the high street? I had thought DP could get me some from his workplace but apparently it is all sent away to be shredded.

Card factory? Hobby craft?

try a small office, they should have some! I doubt if they would pay to have stuff shredded.

Asda have it reduced at the moment, 50p a packet.

I saw shredded tissue paper in WH Smith the other day, no idea of price/quantity though, sorry!

Freecycle?

Go and raid the fruit aisle in the supermarket for bubble wrap. That's what I do!

One cheap option is get a cheap shredder around 10-20 from Argos and a pack of 500 sheets of paper from eg Tesco around £3 and just shred the paper.
