Just looked at Frugi website. Never ordered anything from there before but have whittled 122.00 worth of clothes down to 60.00
Not sure whether to go for it or not!!

smilingmind · 20/12/2016 20:44

I love Frugi clothes and they are very good quality. Was quite Sam when DS got too big for them.

starlight36 · 20/12/2016 20:46

I've just ordered from Frugi. I had to halve my basket too! Just got coats for the kids for next year. They just started wearing the ones I bought last year, for £22 for the girls and £27 for the boys I think they are brilliant value. The tops and dresses may still look quite expensive but all of Frugi's clothes really do wear well and the organic cotton t-shirts are really soft. The timing of the sale is unfortunate as i'd have bought more but Christmas has limited my funds.

smilingmind · 20/12/2016 20:49

Sad not sam

Texasbamma · 20/12/2016 20:55

Placemarking :-)

CremeBrusselsSprouts · 20/12/2016 20:56

Sorry to be a boring IT grinch, but I really wouldn't buy a laptop in January to keep until next Xmas. Whatever spec you buy will be a year old and whilst it won't be obsolete specs will have improved over a year so you're likely to pay more in Jan than you would in Dec for the same spec.

My key considerations for a laptop are:
Processor - i5 or i7 7th generation are good
Memory - 4mb absolute min, 8mb much better
Hard drive - if you want light & portable Solid State Drive 256mb SSD is the way to go
Screen resolution - 768 pixels means pixel density isn't great, something like 1920 x 1080 much better

PamelaEwing · 20/12/2016 21:00

Place marking Xmas Wink

SunnyDayDreaming101 · 20/12/2016 21:08

Placemarking too Smile

I'm after all things maternity and baby, first time in the making and have been holding off buying everything till the sales.

DramaInPyjamas · 20/12/2016 21:14

Thanks creme not boring at all, good advice actually.
I will keep it in mind. as I said, I'm not techy at all Smile

cheekymonk · 20/12/2016 21:46

This one seems a good one! DS aged 11 wants one...

The sales have started! Pick up a bargain over here
CremeBrusselsSprouts · 20/12/2016 21:51

Depends what you want it for CheekyMonk, it's only a Celeron processor which isn't great and with only 4mb RAM it won't be that fast. Not great if it's for games such as MineCraft.

A big 15inch screen is great if it's to use at home and you won't be carrying it about much. Otherwise it adds greatly to the weight of the machine.

cheekymonk · 20/12/2016 21:54

DS will hopefully do some homework on it, surfing, watching YouTube and playing games... Smile

AradiasDaughter · 20/12/2016 21:57

Ooooo placemarking! I love a good sale

farmerswifey2 · 20/12/2016 22:01

Does anyone know if the clothes in Tesco stores are going on sale? Our local store has amalgamated all the kids clothes in a 'sale' fashion.

Pandamanda3 · 20/12/2016 22:03

I just got a laptop from very!
They were the cheapest I found its for Ds and I got £100 back, so works out even cheaper than cheapest for me.
Think they also have £50 back etc on other electricals too!

Admarks · 20/12/2016 22:05

Placemarking - looking for a new vacuum cleaner, ideally from John Lewis (as we have vouchers!)

goldielookingchain · 20/12/2016 22:11

GrinGrin

BridgetDarcy · 20/12/2016 22:23

Apparently Asos start their sale tomorrow and can still deliver in time for Christmas.....

Cremolafoam · 20/12/2016 22:29

Steam cleaners anyone? Xmas Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 20/12/2016 22:54

Following :)

mamabluestar · 20/12/2016 23:15

Ooo sales shopping 😂

VulvaInLaw · 20/12/2016 23:23

Place marking to read and add to later

BridgetDarcy · 20/12/2016 23:35

Cremolafoam - I got a steam cleaner last year from vax - was about 70% off. Might have been just before Christmas though.....

PicardsCombOver · 20/12/2016 23:56

Place marking. Reasties threads have given me a serious spending problem so it's a justifiable place mark.

buckeejit · 21/12/2016 00:28

I desperately want a cordless dyson. 40 next year & want to stop saying 'excuse the mess' to everyone! & have a showhome! Clearly the cordless dyson will achieve all this on my behalf, yes??!
