Has anyone been to Calais or Boulogne Christmas market? Taking the DC (who are desperate to go on a ferry & it's cheaper than London!) we'll be looking for somewhere decent for lunch but otherwise just happy to stroll around market stalls, do a bit of shopping and then booze run before heading home in the evening.
We also looked at Lille but not sure it's worth the extra 2.5-3hr driving for just a day out but open to other suggestions.
