Heading into town to 'see the lights ' - any shop windows that are a must see?

Hamleys and harrods I'm guessing

Manumission · 17/12/2016 18:04

Libertys and Selfridges.

A good slice of Regent St, Oxford St and surrounding side streets is ideal anyway because of the lights and the mix of shops.

The Liberty windows are gorgeous. The lights on Regent street are absolutely stunning this year too.

Excellent- thank you. Good to know where to aim for.

Harrods are crap this year. Libertys are nice. Hamleys are ok but only 2 of them. John Lewis I wouldn't bother with either. Regent Street lights are nice and around Piccadilly Circus in general.

Guitargirl · 17/12/2016 18:54

Forgot to say JL windows nothing much but the rooftop café thing is quite nice and you get a good view from the window on that floor of the lights on I think House of Fraser(?).

NoelHeadbands · 17/12/2016 18:56

House Of Fraser and Selfridges look fab, and Libertys

EsmesBees · 17/12/2016 18:59

Liberty's is lovely this year. They've gone for a Nutcracker theme with no products in so it's quite unusual.

Bearbehind · 17/12/2016 19:03

I second Piccadilly, Regent St, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square being really lovely and Christmassy.
