Buying chocolate boxes online - good deals or recommendations?

I want to buy a few boxes of chocolates as gifts for family or friends. Slim pickings at my local shop so I'm wondering where might be good to try online. If you have any recommendations or have seen some good deals do please share. Happy to multi buy and split (or eat the extras ourselves over the holidays!) Thank you.

I bought this www.thorntons.co.uk/christmas-gifts/christmas-share-bundle-54419.html using a £10 off code posted on this thread. It's just arrived and looks pretty good for £25.

Loads of codes around for thorntoms but personally I find their chocolates rank.

Marks and Spencer chocs are usually good.

Eva50 · 17/12/2016 15:32

Forgetting I am not currently on thread 20! The code for £10 off is SANTA10.

What's your budget?

workatemylife · 17/12/2016 22:16

Thank you for the Thorntons information - clearly I need to pay more attention to the longer threads! I should really have looked in M&S too - I was in there yesterday and didn't think. Xmas Blush
I have a mixed budget I think. For MIL something small but naice would work, but in other cases a big box of sugar would go down better I suspect (including my own house, where DP likes small bits of dark chocolate and I'll eat just about anything!)

I collected this one from Post Office earlier this week:

lilyobriens.co.uk/christmas-shoe-box-hamper

They have 30% discount code on homepage, valid until tomorrow.

Kirriemuir, M&S's chocolate range is contracted out to Thorntons, as is Aldi's Moser Roth range Grin

If you budget is bigger I would recommend Hotel Chocolat, they are reZlly grown up in flavour

OdeToAutumn · 18/12/2016 00:09

I agree with Hotel Chocolat. They have some nice Christmas themed things as well. There are a couple of discount codes around (voucher codes website) for 10-15% off depending on spend

Blueflowers2011 · 18/12/2016 10:38

Leonidas the most superior imo. Belgian chocolate, make your own box rather than the pre made. Nothing like it.
