Hi!

I'm currently in wrapping HQ (aka my dining room) and about to wrap MIL partner's present...

I bought him a robe around August time in the Matalan summer sale (it's a winter robe)... Full price £25, reduced 3 times and down to £6 which is what I paid.

Anyone else try and pick up sale bargains?

What's your best one?

Xmas Smile

No, I'm usually the opposite. I've bought quite a few things in October which I have now seen they are reduced.

I buy things as I see them through the year, forget what I've bought, realize I have 73 small gifts for one person and zilch for some others, panic and buy catch-up presses. Costs a fortune. Must be more organized next year.....

I bought my 4 year old brother a hot wheels set

Should have been £25-£30

I got it for £11 with £3 postage

I ordered a M&D Deluxe magic set from TQ toys. They contacted me to say they only had a damaged set (with photo) available and would only charge me 6.99

You can hardly notice the box is damaged. I also got M&D little colouring in books+felt tips....for 1.00 each (sell on Amazon for about 5 or 6).

Dd's slippers. Should have been £20 from trespass, got them for £4.04

CozumelFox · 18/12/2016 21:07

DD's leappad games... should have been £15 to £20, got for £8 on Ebay, brand new, boxed, sealed. Also some Lego kits purchased in September for around £4 (should have been one of the £10 sets) and a house down to £6.66 in Sainsbury's, last box left. Also the Lego Frozen castle, should have been £30ish, got for £17.

DS's Nintendo 2DS (he hasn't asked for one, he's going to be over the moon), with Nectar points so... basically free.

DD, Sylvanian Family sets, waited for Amazon lightning deals and got for £12 rather than £25.

Crate of craft beer for DH, should have been £24 but had £10 off voucher. Glasses should have been £20, paid £10.
