... anyone got any ideas where I might find it??

So far it hasn't been:

  • at the annual Christmas shopping trip with the girls
  • in any of the 4yo's Lego Advent Calendar doors
  • at the staff Christmas do
  • at the school Panto or Carol concert
  • in 'Love Actually', 'The Holiday', Muppets Christmas Carol', 'Arthur Christmas' or 'Fred Claus'.
  • on the 'Christmas' Spotify playlist
  • in Santa's grotto with 4yo
  • in the box of Christmas cards whilst writing or the post office when sending
  • in the boxes of decorations I'm halfway through putting up after delaying for a week

Where else can I look, folks?

Just done my food order for the 27th so we can do our Christmas on the 28th. Will feel a whole lot better when we wave goodbye to the ILs on Boxing Day!

Good luck everyone.

Good luck all. It's nearly here. May you all find a box of it underneath the Christmas tree in the morning. Or in a bottle of something in the afternoon!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night! EnvyXmas Wink

My DS 16 can't find his either, and it's partly my fault Confused I think I'm the biggest source of Christmas spirit and I can't find any.
We have in laws staying who are not really very Christmassy. It's all about managing their needs as a large group, rather than all joining in with stuff. There is loads they don't eat, they don't do any religious element, don't play charades, don't do family breakfast or stockings... It's just a particularly big Sunday lunch with loads of presents.
I'd rather be with my poorly DF, but I can't.

Thank you Flutter I'm waiting for DC to go to sleep so I can have a little cry (yes it was that bad) Cannot wait to get out of here!

Aw, but you're waving bye bye to in laws soon... Hang in there.

Yes, thanks! I'm going to now eat some Batchelors macaroni cheese and then go to bed - this is one to remember for all the wrong reasons. I'm just grateful that DC is too young to have anything other than good memories of the experience.

I've said next year we will be at home with the door locked apart from FIL as he's lovely and normal
