Big presents I know of 9 year old boys getting this year include a bike, a go pro, playstation, xbox, mobile phone, laptop, 3DS and a season ticket to the football.

What is he like? What is he in to? DS1 turns 9 very soon-birthday present is a new bike, for Christmas he is having a kindle fire tablet and a swanky case as his main present. Last year's big hit was a GoPro type camera-it cost about 50€ on Amazon and is amazing for the price.

A subscription to The Phoenix comic. You can get a little box to unwrap and then a weekly comic delivery.

DS2 adores his Phoenix subscription.
