HerRoyalFattyness · 14/12/2016 10:58

I've bought myself a fitbit. Only the flex 2 so only cheap (well, only £80, which is still a lot to me)
I won't get anything else.

Vintagebeads · 14/12/2016 16:22

Yep bag in Zara and a light box
He will still panic buy something else but after spending 90 quid on a giant bottle of purfume I didn't wear, one year,he is glad of the help!

redshoeblueshoe · 14/12/2016 16:24

I bought myself Timberland boots - I love them Xmas Smile

WhoKnowsWhereTheT1meG0es · 14/12/2016 16:29

Yes, some perfumes that were on offer in John Lewis last month. It's far easier than having to explain exactly which ones.

Goingtobeawesome · 14/12/2016 16:32

£2 on some Baileys chocolates Grin. Dh will buy me proper presents but I saw them and wanted them.

Aftertheraincomesthesun · 14/12/2016 16:41

I'm going to buy something for myself in the next few days.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 14/12/2016 16:47

New shoes. DH will buy his and we'll swap. Works for us.

MelchettsTinslyMoustache · 14/12/2016 17:20

Yes, everything Xmas Hmm
DH proclaimed that he would "need to take some time off" to shop for me, despite me managing to successfully shop for everybody else and still work full time.
Fifteen minutes on the internet and he's done, all he has to do is wrap and I have things that I know I will like and use Xmas Smile

Hermanfromguesswho · 14/12/2016 17:22

Yes I think I will buy myself something this weekend... Not sure I'll get anything if I don't!

WeAllHaveWings · 14/12/2016 19:23

Ive bought myself a new iPad, we have joint money anyway so might as well buy myself something. If dh was left to buy it he would have paid full price where I search for deals.

ruthsmumkath · 14/12/2016 19:24

I got my some UGG's - £160 but so lovely - he would never pick me anything I wanted.

BertrandRussell · 14/12/2016 19:25

Because obviously having a penis means you can't take any responsibility for buying presents for the people you love...............

Tanito279 · 14/12/2016 19:32

I've bought myself a pair of slippers from DD(3) who won't even be with me on xmas day. Then I've also bought a scarf, amaryllis and bottle of martini but my family have paid me back for those.

AndShesGone · 14/12/2016 20:06

Me! Loads of things including a Liberty advent calendar, a Fitbit, purse/ tote.

And it's not because my dh is useless at shopping, he'd buy be anything I want. It's because I hate waste and I only want things I definitely know I will use.

KC225 · 15/12/2016 01:00

My DH is a qraduate from the 'That'll do' school of gift buying. I want a sewing machine. I showed him the page and left him to click the button.

MiscellaneousAssortment · 15/12/2016 02:34

Yup I've bought mine. I don't want to teach DS that mummy's / women spend all their time pleasing others and everybody else gives no gift or shit gifts in return. It's part of my long term training plan module 'women are people too' :)

Ditsy4 · 15/12/2016 02:43

Me. I don't usually but DH is away at work and I saw a ring in an antique shop. It is a wishbone one and I couldn't believe it when it was my size and fits perfectly with a ring he bought me a few years ago. I asked for an eternity ring for our 30 th anniversary. I got a pretty ring ( not eternity) two years later when I had given up hope. The eternity ring I wanted had four sapphires - one for each child. This ring had four sapphires! I didn't wait as I thought it might be gone when he gets back on the 21st. So I bought it.

AndShesGone · 15/12/2016 08:03

Ditsy, that sounds lovely Smile Pic??? Or have you wrapped it

Autumnchill · 15/12/2016 08:19

Purchased all mine but while he was with me so got some nice Kiels face cream, White Company necklace and Danielle Draper jewellery to put under the tree.

He did get me a very nice Waterford Christmas tree decoration Smile

Edhilaria · 15/12/2016 08:25

I may as well. I've made suggestions and he's ignoring them. I'm pissed off to be honest. How hard is it to choose a bloody gift for the person you allegedly love. Apologies for swearing.

RasperryInAMelon · 15/12/2016 08:28

Only because he couldn't find it in stock. But he did good in the first place bless him!

OpheIiaBaIIs · 15/12/2016 09:01

I wanted a new Kindle Paperwhite - DH bought me a regular one last year and I've used it daily, so I decided to upgrade - and I had couches for £30 off, so I ordered it and gave it to DH when it arrived. He's also buying me a new wedding ring as mine broke and is unfixable - we chose it together but he went to the jeweller's and bought it. He also buys me a few little surprises - fancy chocolates, perfume, craft beers, that sort of thing - so he does most of it himself.

Most of his presents are surprises, although he knows he always gets a bottle of scotch and he gives me a 'book list' to choose from.
