All shopping done. Done done done done done. Except I've just ordered a £75 necklace for dd1 (she had an op last week and I feel so sorry for her)

Right - that's it. Done! Done done done done done.

Well thanks op. I needed a good boot up the bum. I am just back in from the shops and have officially started my christmas shopping. I am off to toys r us tonight. The joys Xmas Grin

KittyandTeal · 14/12/2016 16:38

Omg I've never twitched at Christmas before. Generally I plan what everyone is getting, but it, wrap it and stick it under the tree. No more.

Dd1 is 4, we've all had a shitty few years, it's all coming to a head for her atm. Anyway, her presents have been bought and wrapped for weeks. Yesterday she fell in love with her friends little live pet bird.

I send dh on a detour to toys r us this morning on his way to work. Blush

Foldedtshirt · 14/12/2016 16:40

Ah flip, I need to get a twitch on. No tree, no presents, Turkey arriving practically a week before because that was the nearest date I could get. It'll be all right won't it? Confused

oompaloompaland · 14/12/2016 18:14

That's me. All bought, wrapped, hidden, and then bam, into Next today (to get an idea of what might be reduced in the January sales, obviously), and one long furry gilet later for DD I've caved in. Insert expletives here!

RJnomore1 · 14/12/2016 18:19

Acht I twitched last week, £100 on Pete tong classics tickets for dh. Resisting so far for the kids but it's hard!!

Cagliostro · 14/12/2016 19:40

Ooh I love a twitch thread :o I twitched on a cheap watch each for the DCs (less than £12 for two in my defence :o)

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 14/12/2016 20:17

I agree Amazon prime 1 click ordering is lethal. I have bought a magnifying mirror for granny, a Christmas train set, set of step ladders and a remote control dumper truck for DS. Every item from sodding Amazon

Chipsandonionrings · 14/12/2016 20:29

I am having buyers remorse - sort of. I bought all my presents weeks and weeks ago and have just started wrapping. Every time I pull stuff out to wrap I am like how much! Dc have bdays after Xmas so I have stashed some for then. I was supposed to be keeping presents to a minimum as they have new bikes as a main present. Epic fail but kids will be happy. I have present buying amnesia.

Now throughly sick of thinking of Xmas presents - last year I twitched like mad. Be strong guys!

RJnomore1 · 14/12/2016 20:43

I've just had a minor twitch on the body shop 😳

Okkitokkiunga · 14/12/2016 20:48

I went out to get DH a pair of £10 funny boxer shorts yesterday and bought him a watch instead - £1700 later. I'm seriously wondering about my brain function today!!!!!!

realwoodlogs · 14/12/2016 20:56

I'm seriously twitchy now.

My oh went to wrap my gifts this afternoon. He was gone ducking ages.

I have him 5 gifts (OK spent a decent ish amount) but panicking now.

Need some good booster gifts to show how much I love him.

Maybe I don't love him as my as he loves me. Smile

Must. Buy. More.

thegirlinthecar · 14/12/2016 21:00

My twitching was triggered by a really sad article I read about a wee boy. Emotionally distraught and £60 poorer.

Isadora2007 · 14/12/2016 21:03

£1700!!!

That's not a fecking twitch that's an earthquake!!!!

WhenTheDragonsCame · 14/12/2016 21:08

buscake where did you buy the sprout chocolates? I want to get some for DD1 but when I tried ordering them online they didn't arrive as they were supposedly not in that catalogue (even though they were in a catalogue I received a week later Hmm )

Buscake · 14/12/2016 21:17

Here you go Dragons www.choconchoc.co.uk/chocolate-sprouts-punnet?UA-16129943-1&gclid=CM-ch5jS79ACFUa4GwodZoIADg I hope they look as sprouty in real life Xmas Wink

Glittermakeseverythingbetter · 14/12/2016 21:52

Started shopping in September. Been wrapping today and didn't take me very long, so twitched - real techniques sponges and a brush set from superdrug - 25% off, pixiwoo book and dvd from amazon all for dd1 and a watch from argos for dd2

WhenTheDragonsCame · 14/12/2016 21:53

Thank you Buscake, they look great. DD1 loves sprouts and I'm not doing them this year so she can have these instead Xmas Grin

SingingSands · 14/12/2016 22:04

I twitched and bought DH Pete Tong classics tickets.
DH twitched and bought DS laser tag guns.
DD twitched and bought her brother some gadgety thing.
DS twitched and bought his sister a handbag.

We are a family of twitchers!!

Mrsmadevans · 14/12/2016 22:08

God I have twitched badly today bought a new microwave two disney dolls and a hp tee shirt all from tesco

PutDownThatLaptop · 14/12/2016 22:15

I was standing in the queue at Primark (mid twitch, with a handful of clothes for DD that I had not planned to buy), when I very nearly twitched on two packs of 'Call of Duty' socks for my young adult sons....who have piles of presents already. I need help.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/12/2016 22:24

I put DD presents in one pile (pretty good, I thought, but she still keeps adding to her list)
And DS presemts in another.....ah. Huge difference. He's got some Assasins Creed socks 'n' a Curly Wurly Xmas Sad face.

I need to do some serious catch up for him, though TBH, he just wants ££ to save (tight fisted little toad that he is)

DH - I asked him. He doesn't know. He'll get coal at this rate .

WhenTheDragonsCame · 14/12/2016 22:30

I have just twitched and bought

DD1 chocolate sprouts
DD2 chocolate strawberries
DD3 chocolate fruit
Me raspberry flavoured chocolate

Xmas Blush
Mrsmadevans · 14/12/2016 22:32

where from Drag? I am salivating at the thought

Northernlurker · 14/12/2016 22:35

I twitched. I was supposed to be buying a top for dd2 from Hollister and accidentally bought a hoodie for her too. But it was only £19.

WhenTheDragonsCame · 14/12/2016 23:04

Buscake shared the link earlier www.choconchoc.co.uk/chocolate-sprouts-punnet?UA-16129943-1&gclid=CM-ch5jS79ACFUa4GwodZoIADg

Some lovely looking things on there and I was restrained to only order what I did. Xmas Grin
