Make-up range for 12 year old niece. Ideas, please

So make-up is the suggested present for my niece so I'm going with it...

Which range would be best, anyone? I haven't a clue. Benefit???

It doesn't have to be all that posh or nuffink...

Good lord no don't start her in benefit!

Pure minerals for foundation type stuff. Sleek or MUA or makeup revolution for colourful things to play about with. You will find them all at boots or Superdrug.

Depends what she needs. If foundation then I'd go for bobbi brown straight off the bat. If cosmetics and she has no allergies then Nyx.

Cheap and cheerful fine, just have no idea!

I bought my 12 yo the Superdrug advent calendar. She's very happy with it, no complaints about the products so I'd go for their own brand. I'd steer clear of foundation for now though.

I would get something from the Tanya Burr range which is sold in Superdrug - she is one of those Youtube people who all the kids seem to like
