How do you put lights on outside wall? Brick wall, so how do you fix the lights (icicle ones) to front of your house?

We have brick walls on the house and bought some icicle lights to put up but have no idea how to fix them to the front of the house

Please help MNetters

Wilko's sell plastic "gutter hooks", they look a bit like curtain hooks, would this do the trick RT?

Sorry - Should have explained - DH isn't able to climb up to top floor so wanted to put them on ground floor above Windows and front door (which are pvc) but also would need to go into bricks

Following with interest.

We use cable clips. You would probably need to use rawlplugs in the brick after drilling a hole.
