It's my DS 9th birthday as well, so he is getting s PS4 as a joint thing, he is mad into football so premier league ball, shin pads and some sports direct gift vouchers

Sunshine59 · 06/12/2016 17:28

Oh sorry just seen for your DD, my suggestions not helpful, sorry

ReActiv · 06/12/2016 17:28

What is the budget? What kind of things does she like?

I have a 9yo-ish so happy to share ideas if you narrow it down a bit Smile

Cagliostro · 06/12/2016 17:59

My 9yo DD's favourite things:
rollerblades
sewing machine (a small but 'proper' one IYSWIM not Sew Cool type stuff)
playmobil big sets - she loves the swimming pool, castle, pyramid sets and if we had room I'd have got her the water park one this year, or the treehouse
lottie dolls/accessories
she's getting a wooden marble run this year as her main present, shared with her younger brother

Darthvadersmuuuum · 06/12/2016 18:02

My DD is desperate for a 3 doodler this year. They do look good for arty/crafty children.

Cagliostro · 06/12/2016 18:02

oh and Lego, obviously Lego. Creator/City mostly

Nearlyadoctor · 06/12/2016 19:03

Heelys
Big Lego elves set
Kindle Fire
Our generation doll / clothes

winterisnigh · 06/12/2016 19:25

xbox but would have been nintendo ds other wise, we have no consoles, games etc in house so this is our first.
everything she was mad into last year - ie lego creator etc - not a blink of interest now.

NotdeadyetBOING · 07/12/2016 07:10

Thanks all. Happy to spend up to £200 if necessary .Not keen on electronics if poss. Intrigued by marble run - I remember LOVING them. A friend is getting her Lego Friends otherwise that would be the obvious choice. DH HATES Playmobil as they are such a massive pain to put together. Had thought about a skateboard, but she seems to be going off that, annoyingly.

Stuff from smiggle for the stocking

New scooter

My 9year old is obsessed with Harry Potter. My DD always ask for surprises so that makes it easy.

NotdeadyetBOING · 07/12/2016 07:42

Oooo - 3Doodler looks v. promising.
Will take a look at Aquadrawer which sounds intriguing too….
Thanks all - please keep them coming!!

Roller skates and bomber jacket here. Mine has a 3D pen already and she does like it, but it's quite tricky to make 3D shapes. She does mainly 2d

Idodo · 07/12/2016 08:33

Our generation doll and accessories
Barbie house
Ugg boots (not getting the real thing)
iPod
Skateboard
Lego friends

She asked for roller skates for her birthday but has hardly used them

Nearlyadoctor · 07/12/2016 09:28

Micro scooter
Camera
