I would like to get DS a Korean cookery kit, with a recipe book. I know very little about Korean food, otherwise would make it up myself.

Any ideas?

It mainly uses similar ingredients to Chinese and Thai, but some of the more obscure ingredients are really difficult to get hold of, would agree about getting the book first

Get a jar of kimchi! It's a spicy fermented cabbage. Delicious!

Thanks.

We have been to a Korean restaurant and eaten Kimchi, I was hoping to get a kit with ingerdients that relate to a book. Nothing on Amazon or ebay.

This shop sells cook books too. Not sure where you are based OP but New Malden in Surrey has a big Korean community so lots of shops and restaurants. You could either visit or have a look on line.
