We've got 6 adults staying this year ( don't often have overnight guests) and I'm working this year too, so not for me the relaxed preparations of year's past, pottering round while the kids are at school.
It will be straight from finishing work into full on kids-home-guests arriving, so I need to stop panicking and get organised 
Does anyone have a mega list of sorts, for preparations and extra shopping items? It's the kind of thing I image would be published in Good Housekeeping, but I'm hoping a kindly MNer might have one - not quite ready to buy GH at my age 
Also need to calculate quantities of veg for dinner (don't often cook for 10!) but I guess that's another thread....
