What to buy for a geeky dh?

Dh is a geek - comic books, Star Wars, miniatures/ war hammer type stuff.

In previous years money has been tight so we've only really done token gifts.

This year we're ok for money and while chatting with dh earlier he let slip that he'd got my present. Further digging and he said he'd spent a fair bit. 😬

Help!

Comic Con tickets for next year?

A rare comic that he likes?

Replica of a vehicle from a series he likes? (Batmans car etc?)

Apple TV?

Beats headphones (my DH has the buds and loves them!)

Star Wars lego sets. Mine has a wish list that starts with the star destroyer 😀

Take him to visit the war hammer place in Nottingham if you live not too far and he hasn't been. I'm not in to war hammer but took friends DC there as a treat.

The Haynes manual for the zombie apocalypse? Saw it in The Works the other day and picked one up for a 'geeky' niece...

Did you want one big present or a few smaller ones? What about this book (sorry for hideous link) www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/1452113882/ref=mp_s_a_1_40?ie=UTF8&qid=1480889139&sr=1-40&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=infographics&dpPl=1&dpID=41VsLaGHfsL&ref=plSrch

Also, does he have Star Wars set on blu ray? My DH assures me it's the only way to watch it Grin

MissClarke86 · 04/12/2016 22:10

My OH is the same but sends me lists of warhammer things he wants and I buy them! I wouldn't have a clue otherwise.

I also bought him a board game because we play a lot of those.

Funko pops

He's been to warhammer world a few times - we aren't ok far away.

He's not bothered by the funko pops

I have bought graphic novels - usually something he's not read but by one of his favourite writers. But in the last year he's done loads of humble bundles (sp?) and has an online subscription for marvel etc so my chances of finding something new to him is unlikely. And as it's all online I can't check through the cupboards to see what he's read.

He's already got the latest Star Wars on blu ray. And he has particular opinions about the different George Lucas cuts of the other episodes so I'm not sure he'd actually prefer them to the DVD one he has already.

Aargh! He's an awkward bugger as he treats himself to stuff quite regularly! 🙄

What would be perfect would be a Nintendo classic console but I may as well try and get him a bucket of unicorn poop!
