Boy trousers - posting for Mummy traffic

Not Christmas as such but need help !

I am having trouble getting trousers that will fit my DS round the waist. .... Gap, M&S, JL and Fat Face are all ok in leg but tight round middle for my 9 year old DS - TBH he does have a little tummy despite all sport he does - any suggestions . Only ones that he is OK with at mo are cord Boden Baggies.

Next do plus fit. I have the opposite problem. My ds can only wear slim fit at the moment. He only seems to grow upwards
