What to buy my dad?!

I'm sure I'm not the only person with an impossible to buy for father...

He is 53 years old. He is a big Leicester city fan and has some merchandise but thinks a lot of it is 'tacky'. Doesn't drink much. Has a pile of books he hasn't read and DVDs he hasn't watched. Doesn't use bath stuff. Is into gadgets but if he wants anything he buys it for himself- if he doesn't have it it's because he doesn't want it.

I have a £30 budget (I'm skint) but can't think of ANYTHING he'd want! Help! What are you getting the difficult men in your life?

I think the best presents from dc are ones where you get to spend time with them so I'd look for something on at the cinema and make a date to take him. With tickets, popcorn and drinks £30 should just about cover it and your Dad will enjoy having your company.

What food does he like? That would buy nice bottle of wine or selection of craft beers or an amazing cheese.

The cineworld Christmas box deal is about £30 and has vouchers for 2 tickets and food and drinks for two people.

Thanks everyone. I ended up having a rather brainwave and have bought him and my mum a Historic Houses membership (£77 between them so a bit over budget but that's fine). Thanks for the ideas- I'll store them up for his birthday!
