Ok not the best description I grant you but I am not 100% with it this morning (late night).
I'm doing a coffee hamper for friend and what I'm looking for to go in it is the metal "stirrer" that they use in coffee shops when you have a latte etc and they are sort of "spooning" the milk froth lovingly onto the espresso. I've asked in my local shop but they only have the ones they use in store.

Can you buy them anywhere ?

I don't think this is what you mean, but this thing is amazing. I'm drinking a coffee made with it right now! m.johnlewis.com/bodum-latteo-milk-frother-0-25l/p/231904052

I had one of the battery ones but the best one was a Lakeland Limted one , long wooden handle with metal loops at the end.
You roll it in your hands (rapidly) to make the foam.

Actually works best with UHT (boak) but I'm soya so I 'll need to try that .

Thanks for all the suggestions. Know my description was pants! We have the frother - it is the metal, stick thing that the baristas in Costa etc use to get the frothed milk out of the jug that we are searching for ....
