i need your inspiration for my niece
she has just turned 2 last week
what can i get her for christmas? She has 2 older sisters and 2 older brothers (age 4-11 my) so their house is full of "stuff".
any thoughts on something special for her? £20-£30ish.

THANK YOU!

Have a look at ELC's happyland range 😃

Matching umbrella, raincoat and wellies?

I got a friend's toddler dd an umbrella for Christmas once, and it was apparently the only thing she would play with all day!

New swimming costume, swim towel - we got her a Disney Princesses one from Disney Store, goggles and swim bag was a big hit for her.

I'd also say something that is theirs rather than a hand-me-down.

My ds are nearly two and just three and love messy play. The indoor sand abd water trays are lovely.

Role play stuff - toy hairdryer, till etc.

IKEA have new toys in that are lovely.

A super-tacky princess type dress that will make her mother shudder but which she will very likely love?

I still regret never buying a very little dd one of the super-frilly and (to me) ghastly dresses typically worn by a lot of local little girls where we were living in the Middle East. She told me again recently over 30 years later how badly she'd wanted one! But no, I had to get her a nice, tasteful party dress instead. 😕 (It was a lovely dress, though)

How about a nice baby doll, this can be something that is just hers?

nocampinghere · 01/12/2016 10:52

thanks all, definitely like the idea of something that is just hers.
their house is overrun with toys, water/sand/paint/glitter etc...
when she's older i'll make sure to take her aside and ask her what she would really like. at 2 it is a bit tricky - she's old enough to know (and clothes etc just won't do!) but not old enough to have a chat to iykwim

Something personalised? Check out the lost my name books. I've ordered ds the space version and my 2yo dd wants to be an astronaut :)
