has anyone got any good recommendations for canvas prints?

I usually recommend the MoneySavingExpert photo deals page but they seem to have just got one on there and say that there are lots of different deals out there...

I've found a few others including an ebay person that has good reviews - but just wondering if anyone has had any done and been disappointed with the results - is it worth sticking to somebody more expensive?

Cheers!

As a heads up, I ordered shoes, gloves and a top from lindybop and the sizing is tiny, absolutely tiny! Really annoyingly (as you have to pay for returns) it's all got to go back

Avoca76 · 03/12/2016 19:04

Hi,

I have a very specific request from my sister. She wants a long nightie (i.e. ankle length). It must have long sleeves but not tight cuffs and not look like it's made for an old woman!

Any ideas?

bigredfireengine · 03/12/2016 19:12

Any John Lewis codes about does anyone know thanks

John lewis don't do codes. They do price match if you can find it cheaper (subject to rules)

Finlaggan · 03/12/2016 19:20

Thanks vintage I've ordered one but I've got my eye on another for DH so will wait to see if they reduce them further.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 03/12/2016 19:23

Carrotvan I've bought my aunt and uncle a wine and choc gift set from M&S for about that price. Full size bottle of Bordeaux and big box of really nice looking Italian chocolates

gift set

One word of warning though, I thought it would come in a sort of presentation box but it doesn't, so I've put it in a naice Christmas bag with some tissue paper.

LavateLasManos · 03/12/2016 19:29

I've come across this website, very similar to the stock informer one I found. This one checks every Argos store to let you know where has stock in
Argos stock checker
Reastie it may be another useful link for The List

LostMyRubySlippers · 03/12/2016 19:32

Ive got an offer on sparks m&s for £3 off £15 spend on food/ flowers- if you log into your account it should be there- assuming they offer all customers same deals but don't know?! Instore only

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 03/12/2016 19:51

FireflyGirl · 03/12/2016 20:12

Avoca has she said where she's seen it? I think most long sleeved nighties are by nature quite old-fashioned...

Some here

Or some in John Lewis.

verytiredmummy1 · 03/12/2016 20:19

Thank you so much margaritas. I still can't find out what it is :(

reastie Argos have the toot toot one half price but I'll keep my eye out. I bought the happyland one this year and it's gone down a storm!!

verytiredmummy1 · 03/12/2016 20:21

joe I used your link thank you :)

It has your full name on it by the way
Thank you for the code :)

verytiredmummy1 · 03/12/2016 20:22

Is there an all year round bargain thread on here? Could do with this level of bargain hunting all year!

CassetteTape · 03/12/2016 20:32

Avoca I saw in asda today a long length long sleeve blue & cream stripey straight down dress in a t-shirty fabric, and said nice nightie, think it was £12.

AHolyGuacamole · 03/12/2016 20:34

Trumpton thanks so much for the Hotel Chocolat info!

Avoca76 · 03/12/2016 20:34

Firefly. She knows they are all old fashioned so asked me in the hope that I would be able to miraculously find one!

Giselaw · 03/12/2016 20:42

Not any help now, but I got playmobil advent calendars in Argos in the after Xmas sales to use for this year - £10 each. Also around mid January, there was a massive sale on Playmobil stuff on Amazon, so do put a camel tracker on things you may want. I bought this Santa house for £14. It usually sells for around £35-40. It's actually much much nicer than the advent calendar (which comes with a paper "room") so if you don't want to repeat "last year's" calendar, you could portion out the included accessories - more than 24 pieces - into advent satchels/boxes and create your own. I'm keeping a beady eye out again this year and hopefully doing just that as a gift for a family member for next Christmas.

Lurleene · 03/12/2016 20:49

Avoca - I don't know your budget but this cashmere M&S one is very simple, but pretty spendy at £50.

Nightie

jinglestheelf · 03/12/2016 20:51

Twitching on Amazon and found a few deals!

Play Doh Cake Party set, down from £15 to £5.89

My Little Pony playset reduced from £25 to £7.66

Rapunzel Princess Hair glow doll was £35 now £20.18

asuwere · 03/12/2016 20:55

avoca what about this polar bear or this snowflake from BonMarche?

Iggi999 · 03/12/2016 21:01

Pah, fed up with Amazon things that are "reserved for Prime members only" - when did this start happening?!

Kat3L · 03/12/2016 21:04

B&M stores have choc oranges for £1

Whatdoesaturkeydo · 03/12/2016 21:06

Just see this in my fb

£10 off a £10 spend at Yankee with code December16

I just got a big jar for £15 delivered

Happy Christmas to me

Whatdoesaturkeydo · 03/12/2016 21:07

Should have said it will only work on full price not sale

ChoccyJules · 03/12/2016 21:09

pigleychez not sure of the style of bookmark your DDs are after, there are a few on here: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/472366936/penguin-bookmark-ceramic-crystal?ref=shop_home_active_9

3rd Dec and DD has still not asked for anything...nice but also frustrating! This happens most years as her birthday is in Autumn and she's still got piles of stationary and craft sets from her friends to get through.
