I think a wooden or metal box and then buy some simple decoupage stuff (hobbycraft or online craft store) modge podge is a good sealer and then choose some nice papers and she could decorate as a craft project

Think a trip to Hobbycraft is in order. I can let the dc choose a decoration to make each and then I think we'll get some fimo too as they'll love that. Might be a stupid question, but can you paint it afterwards? Or do you just buy it in different colours in the first place?

Reastie I would avoid the jelly type Disney Princess shoes that seems to around at the moment. My small-footed 5 year old has a few pairs and they are already too tight for her, so for a 6 year old I wouldn't think they'd be a good fit.

Got very excited when I saw Catalina's code, saw a great pair of saltrock pjs for my son...long bottoms, short sleeved top which is what he wants, but my heart sank when I saw that kids sizes only go up to 11/12. He's 12 but I'd need an age 14 as he's tall.

So, (sorry for waffling!), has anyone seen boys pjs with long legs and short sleeves. I'd ideally want something with checky bottoms but that's not essential. Help please!

Any ideas on good quality colouring pencils or fine thickness pens ? Teenage DD of friend loves those Minnie Marotta colouring books and has lots of pencils already but has asked for more ... Just wondering if there any unusual colour types out there perhaps that may be a little different ?

BeaLola wh smith have colouring pencils for £1 with 02 priority if you have that? Think rrp is 6.99. Or studio do personalised ones at a good price for something a bit different.

BeaLola for a colouring enthusiast I would buy chameleon pens (they change gradient of colour as you go) but they're expensive. Depends on your budget. You might be able to get a pack of 5 for £25 on Amazon?

Or budget depending, a special colouring pencil box like this case or The Works have a slightly cheaper scribbleicious version.

Reastie, John Lewis have these in at the moment - with both Elsa and Anna in them. I do realise that they're almost certainly no more expensive than Disney, they're probably more than you want to spend...!
