Thank you youokayhun for the Olaf snow cone code that is an amazing bargain, I've bought 4 for DS friends birthdays.

MrsCrimbo74 · 02/12/2016 10:56

Does anybody know anywhere that are selling the Paw Patrol Zoomer Marshall's for under £60? Tesco seems to be the cheapest at £61.73

NotSoNewNow · 02/12/2016 11:04

Lapinlapin hobby craft have some 1/2 price make your own decoration kits, £1.50 for 2 ornaments. Lovely felt ones! Definitely worth a look. I tried to order online but they were showing as out of stock so go in if you can.

gammatron · 02/12/2016 11:21

So today, after months of me asking what he wants for Christmas, my DPD has decided he wants mini nes- gah!

gammatron · 02/12/2016 11:21

Dp not DPD! DPD aren't getting anything from me for Christmas!

Thank you insan1 for the £5 of mag subscription. Sorts my SIL.

Lapinlapin we make tree decorations with fimo. Roll out thin and cut with biscuit cutters then make holes in the top before you bake in the oven. They are nice and light (whereas I find salt dough can get very heavy), you can use all sorts of colours (and have mixed glitter in before so they shimmer), and they keep well. You can scratch name and date on the back before you cook. Kids have also done them as little personal gifts for nursery workers and teachers. Children from 2 can manage as it's just like using play doh.

Theonlyoneiknow · 02/12/2016 12:06

therunningsloth did that code work on a gift box or just the subscription boxes? thanks!

SymphonyofShadows · 02/12/2016 12:18

I spoke too soon about the amazon charger thing! The new one was due to be delivered yesterday and didn't turn up. When I checked the tracking it said that delivery had been refused, despite someone being in all day. No one knocked. I am deeply suspicious because I also got the refund yesterday so I reckon they ballsed it up by recalling it. The helpline are just telling me to go through the whole thing again, but I can't be arsed, it was arduous.

PersisFord · 02/12/2016 12:27

Thanks for the wreath holder and M&s advice!!

lapin we make Angels, stars, snowmen (cookie cutters) then poke a hole in the top with a straw before baking. Then the kids decorate them with copious amounts of glitter glue and I hang them with gift wrapping ribbon. Our ones from last year either broke or went soggy when I tried to put them away but the fun is in the making of them!! We did a cornflour dough instead of proper salt dough last year which looked nice because it was whiter but it's more expensive and our decorations aren't Instagram worthy at the best of times!!!

PersisFord · 02/12/2016 12:29

one fimo is a good idea!!! That's a blast from my past!!!!

WindyFlowers · 02/12/2016 13:08

Can anyone help with hillwalking socks? I'm looking for a pair for my dad and totally out of my depth! There are so many. Will be used in all seasons in the Highlands and possibly around the garden. Budget £10-15.

PersisFord · 02/12/2016 13:30

I got my dad some bridgedale ones last year and he loves them. I don't remember which ones as I know nothing about specialist socks though, sorry!

youokayhun · 02/12/2016 13:34

I thought tesco clubcard boost was an all year round thing? Was planning to double up my vouchers and pay the extra towards DS Nintendo DS....gutted!

todayisabeautifulday · 02/12/2016 13:34

For the poster looking for the pink castle . This is foldable and has 20% off.

Or was it on another board??

MyPatronusIsABadger · 02/12/2016 13:40

I don't know if anyones able to help but I'm really struggling to find something for my aunt who is having us for Christmas. She doesn't like 'stuff' about the place and in the past we have gotten 'better versions' of normal things e.g. she loves Jo Malone soaps, cashmere scarf and gloves etc.

Its just that my budget doesn't stretch that far this year and I'm looking for something around £25. i know she likes a few candles, but i don't feel confident getting something scented in case she doesn't like it.

Any ideas for a good deal on something for her? I started to look into nice food, but as we're staying with her i didn't want her to think i was hinting!! (we're doing a separate Christmas food hamper as a thank you)

MarsBarsAreShrinking · 02/12/2016 13:53

Thank you insan1tyscartching - just ordered my Dad (aka the world's most difficult person to buy for) a 12 month subscription for National Geographic magazine. He will love it! He loves anything about science/nature etc and was on about getting Sky just for the NG channel but was too tight to pay for it!

imip · 02/12/2016 14:19

For anyone needing to send presents abroad, The White Company have free delivery over £50 on international delivery! My family are in Australia, so this is amazing!

torthecatlady · 02/12/2016 14:26

Thanks for the dolce gusto link! No idea what the preludio drink is, but will be nice to try!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 02/12/2016 14:40

Thanks for the Olaf deal. I've been greedy and ordered 11 so it means my toddler group kids get an amazing present! Hope they honour it Confused

MrsCrimbo74 · 02/12/2016 14:52

GirlWithTheYellowHat How did you manage to order 11? They wouldn't let me order any more than 4 Sad

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 02/12/2016 15:03

It just had the counter and it was going all the way up to 20! Only ordered 1 per older child though. Feel bad but will look like a fab present

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 02/12/2016 15:04

Huge saving
