Does anyone have a code for the Spicery? Think my hard to buy for brother might like it

RJnomore1 · 01/12/2016 11:06

Just a word of warning everyone. I was in Glasgow for work so popped into game inst enochs as they were showing mini nes in stock. I've not made it to smyths yet for my pre order and a bird in the hand etc...

They have loads but every single one is pre ordered so none for sale. Don't trust the stock alert phone before you travel and check. I was passing anyway at least.

threesenoughthanks · 01/12/2016 11:07

Received a £10 off £40 code for joules this morning that I won't use. If anyone else can then they're welcome. Full price items only ends midnight 20/12/16

I didn't buy any of the bargainous advent calendars - for me. Now it is the 1st of December I am feeling like I should have. Has anyone seen any beauty or candle type ones in a sale? Much obliged.

BHS have up to 50% off online for gifts and hampers here

PersisFord · 01/12/2016 11:43

Morning christmassers, I'm after some advice please. I need presents for my Godchildren:

5 year old girl - loves crafts and things but her younger brother is a terror so something she can do with minimal supervision and that won't hurt the toddler if he gets his hands on it (I gave her hungry hippos last year and he ate one of the balls!)

4 year old boy - he's v v bright, likes cooking and science, paw patrol and go jetters. He's got loads of PP stuff because I buy it for him all the time.

2 year old boy - brother of 4 year old. Likes peppa, noisy stuff, building towers.

£20 on each and heartfelt pleas from their mums for no more plastic crap. Which I have taken personally because I buy plastic crap for them on all other occasions!!

It's a strange thing to offer in return....but I have been reading loads of novels recently and would be v happy to suggest things that people might like based on their reading history!

PersisFord · 01/12/2016 11:44

Also, I need some stuff from M&s. Should I just buy it now or will there be a sale day nearer Xmas?

IceLemonGin · 01/12/2016 11:55

Has anyone seen the accentuate board game anywhere for cheaper than £15. Looks like a good game for after Christmas Dinner!

winterisnigh · 01/12/2016 12:01

peris

dobble for kids is a great game - larger symbols for them to spot, djeco craft kits are gorgeous lots of help with pictures in them too, painting or stamping sets, all sorts..

curlingandtwirling · 01/12/2016 12:05

DillDong can you post the link for the one you got on EBay?

Hallors90 · 01/12/2016 12:15

noname my local Aldi had their own brand advent calendars reduced to £2.99 last night!

mammyaroundmadness · 01/12/2016 12:27

Really struggling with a sister in law pressie. She has sensitive skin and is diabetic anyone got any ideas please?

DillDongMerrilyOnHigh · 01/12/2016 12:30

IveGot it was this one.

m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-hero-Kids-Children-Cape-mask-costume-Superman-Batman-Spiderman-Superhero-/272452101502?var=&hash=item3f6f69257e%3Am%3AmkORXhJGGU348ZDmCKM9NTQ&_trkparms=pageci%253A28797bce-b7c1-11e6-8b5d-74dbd1803a57%257Cparentrq%253Aba5830e61580a60ceaca5c56ffeeeef7%257Ciid%253A3

Looks like a few of them are out of stock but there are other sellers selling the same ones and the quality is great for the price. Search for U.K. sellers though.

OhHolyFuck · 01/12/2016 12:49

I've got a 15% off code at Disney store if anyone wants it?

Which leads me to my next dilemma - I was looking at the American Disney store to see what the difference was to the uk one and have fallen in love with an Ursula mug, reduced down to just $10...but $35 shipping! Is there a cheaper way of doing this does anyone know? Like is there a po box you can send to and then get it sent on?

luckiestgirl · 01/12/2016 13:18

IveGot I think the offer I bought for capes was Amazon but I've just checked and they're all above £20 now!

Iggi999 · 01/12/2016 13:26

Persis my 4 year old is begging paw patrol stuff, and plastic bricks (all I've thought of so far). Is mum doesn't want "crap" what about a nice book set or DVDs of the gruffalo - big hit here.

Iggi999 · 01/12/2016 13:27

Would love a heated throw thing for dparent, someone stop me spending £100 on a Lakeland one by suggesting somewhere else, please!!

Silvertap · 01/12/2016 13:50

Mammyaround - someone upthread linked to Isle of Skye candles doing two for 1 on their 3 wick candles.

Mine arrived this week and have
Sorted my 4 sisters in law!

CarrotVan · 01/12/2016 13:58

mammy how about

some very comfy socks (cashmere if you can), a book and a candle for a nice night in?

Or a Love of Coffee selection box if she drinks coffee?

Or a couple of nice mugs, some interesting tea and a tea infuser if she prefers tea?

Or someone posted that the Lindybop sale has lovely leather gloves for less than £10 and they would be a nice gift - wrapped beautifully in tissue and a gift box

Aubasaurus · 01/12/2016 14:13

PersisFord, how about one of the Usborne See Inside books for the 4 year old? I bought my then almost 4 yr old See Inside Your Body last Christmas and she spent hours pouring over it and looking inside all the flaps. She's getting the Science one this year!

For everyone: H&M will send you a 25% off one item and free delivery code if you sign up to their newsletter here.

Carrie76 · 01/12/2016 14:22
