Hi everyone. I know its leaving it a bit late but I'm looking for advice on the best advent for a DD age 5. She will get a cheap character chocolate one but I want to get her a toy one too. We have done the playdoh one which is the same this year so not that. She does like lego and playmobil so maybe one of those. I'm leaning towards playmobil but which one? Opinions please. Which did you DC prefer/get more play value with. thanks.

Playmobil definitely, we have had the pony one, fairy and unicorn and Santa with the sleigh. All excellent.

This year dd is 9.5 so have gone for a Smiggle one!

I have seen the santa one and they have a christmas house scene one too. She is getting the zoo playset with additions for christmas.

Toys r us are giving the Santa one away free with purchases of £45 worth of Playmobil.

I've noticed that offer as we live near to a toysrus so in most days. Im not sure I can spend another £45 to get an advent I could get for £20 on its own though it is tempting. I'll have another look and see if how much playmobil I can get for that much. DD will probably like a little more bundle of parcels to open if I can get little sets. Grin

At that age I would go for Playmobil. DD loves Lego but the pieces are tiny and I personally find it rather disappointing but the Playmobil one (she had a knight one) was a lot better.
