I'm having a major panic over what to send or get my brother in Sydney.

He's 30, works hard and plays hard. And I've no idea! Plus my budget is tiny £25.

Any ideas of things I can send or places I can buy from over there?

Thank you!!!

I have relatives in Australia and have used Res Balloon many times to buy "experiences" as I've had problems with gifts getting lost in the post over the last few years. You can set the price range and select the area but there are loads of things on there - actual items as well as the experience vouchers.

*Red Balloon, stupid autocorrect Hmm

My brother lives in Sydney. I often send a hamper from an Aussie company called Hamper Emporium. Doesn't have to be expensive.

The only thing you can send in the post now are books really. It's a complete nightmare. I'm doing that this year but have done a booze delivery in the past.

WiltingTulip · 27/11/2016 00:05

There's a website called boozebud.com
I used it to buy my dh a boutique beer advent calendar and some beer. Was good and had other things. I'd suggest that.

Thanks everyone. These are great ideas!

It's so difficult, I feel like I only ever get him a token gift that's easy to post!

A Westfield shopping voucher? I tend to get them for my sister in Melbourne as the cost of postage gets ridiculous on 'physical' gifts , and then she can just get what she wants at any Westfield mall (loads of them in Oz)

This is dull, but dsis and I agree on a price and get ourselves something we actually want from each other. Postage is bonkers now.

Hope this helps!

www.hardtofind.com.au may have something.

Marks and Spencer have a dedicated website for Australian gifts, I presume it's done through a local partner as delivery is only $5. A good selection of gifts, I just put together an order for my sister in Brisbane.

Does he get you a token gift that's easy to post too? I do honestly think that's fine for folks living a long way away. Then you can ring or skype and have a nice chat near the day.

Can you send a parcel
Of "lollies" from UK that he might be missing that we can't buy here is Aus?
