Christmas Afternoon Tea suggestions - London

Hi All
Has anyone booked a great Afternoon Tea in London and wouldn't mind sharing the details?
I am looking to book for x3 adult women (no children - hurrah!) in a swanky (!) London hotel as a special treat for us all.
I have just checked and The Ritz is £75 each (no idea if there's any availability - just checked the price) so that's my starting point....! That felt a bit expensive but I do appreciate I might be in that ballpark for anything really nice.
Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions on here.

I have tea'd all over London and I would recommend Fortnum and Masons as then you could go shopping as well. Tea is £44

btw - Claridges much nicer than the Ritz and only £58.

The only thing to watch out for at claridges and the ritz etc is that they put the prices up at Christmas! Love claridges though, so Christmassy!

I second St. Pancras!

The Cutty Sark also do a nice afternoon tea but it isn't posh like the other suggestions are, but very child friendly!!

Browns is lovely, like being in an Agatha Christie novel but without the worry about cyanide in the earl grey. Also liked the Waldorf, very generous with their topping up if I recall. Personally I did not think much of the Fortnums offering, I love Fortnums but was not over impressed with their cakes, however you could combine afternoon tea with a happy hour mooching in their perfume department which is far and away the best in London, plenty of space, all the usual suspects plus smaller perfume houses.

if you want to go cheap ,sorry , save money, then Asper's casino at Westfield Stratford has an afternoon tea offer for £6.50 a head!!!! It is a pretty decent tea too, though obviously the ambiance is not quite the same as the Ritz, but for £6.50 I will bring my own ambiance.

The Berkeley in Knightsbridge do a lovely afternoon tea and the BB Bakery do a bus afternoon tea and do a special one to see the Christmas lights

For me I've always found the Dorchester to be better. The Ritz is full of tourists (of which I am of course) but too many people milling about and photos/flash going off all the time.

We went to the Langham recently and it was lovely - personal service, two sittings lasting 2 hours so no rush. Palm Court is quite small so felt intimate and relaxed.
We booked through afternoontea. Co. UK and got a free glass of champagne.

The Alice in wonderland afternoon tea at the Sanderson is the best I've been to, and I've done the savoy, ritz, Charlie and the chocolate factory and the Hilton so quite a few. But nothing has come close to this!
