What to buy for 'young 12yo' boy.

He will be 12 this December but he isn't into music or branded clothing.

He seems a bit too old for toys and a bit too young for the stuff his friends want.

Any ideas?

What about some 'older' Lego? Expert sets are recommended from age 12 I think. Also lots of Technic sets are for that sort of age, or Lego architecture?

He asked for and got a unicorn plushie on his birthday! - he's my lovely, innocent wee scone.

He asked for some pokeballs. And I got him a kindle fire.

I might get him a few hoodie.

The lego is a great idea!

My 'young' nearly 12 yr old is into:

Will get him some stuff around these interests, plus Googleplay vouchers and some accessories for his first ever phone , touchscreen gloves, some stocking filler type jokes and mini gadgets.
