Puzzle or boardgame for 6 year old?

He loves screwball scramble, so I was thinking of maybe that Hexbug game. Is it any good? Or is there anything similar he would like?

I'm time poor and haven't had a chance to read through the big long Christmas thread. I literally have no idea what to get him. I want to avoid anything iPad/technology related for a few years, if I can.

My 5 year old likes Orchard Toys games and puzzles, they've got lots of different stuff, worth a look on their website.

I think Uno would be his sort of thing exactly.

Monopoly - kids party edition. Mine loved it at that age. Instead of streets etc it's pirate, fairy party etc. Cards are you did provide party bags please pay 200 etc. Something they are very familiar with at that age

My 6 year old GS loves Uno and his 4 year old sister is very good at it as well .

Frustration is great fun. Uno occupies us for ages! Top Trumps. Dobble. Dr Seuss I can do that card game. Second Orchard Toys recommendation. Twister.

My 6yo loves Uno and Top Trumps, he has also just got to grips with codebreaker which I love to play too!

Carcassonne and Enchanted Forest are both popular with my nearly 6 you.
