Not sure if it's already been mentioned somewhere but if you're shopping on Amazon check their Warehouse Deals - anything used or open box in that department has 20 % off at the moment Grin

AFingerofFudge · 23/11/2016 13:26

firsttimer I'm in Gloucestershire, but not in a big town. I have looked online but it says sold out. I presume it means it isn't going to be sold online.

SymphonyofShadows · 23/11/2016 13:26

Bill Doc Martens give you 10% your first order on the website. You might have to use a new email if you've already registered with them though.

Chocolateteabag · 23/11/2016 13:30

Vistaverde - for your secret santa knitter - balls of wool in gorgeous colours will always be welcome - basically we knitters/crocheters are wool hoarders.
You can usually get 3/2 in Hobbycraft and get some lovely 100% wool - cashmerino by Sublime or any Rowan wool. But if you have any local yarn shops then anything more bespoke would also be welcome.

I personally find pattern books are too subjective but can always find something to make with any kind of wool

And I used to think I was

GruffaloPants · 23/11/2016 13:34

WINGAP 30% off everything at GAP u til midnight. 3WINGAP for 40% off full price only. They have some heavily discounted sale stuff, e.g. T shirts for £2.99. Just got my DB a nice hoodie - in sale plus code it was £11 instead of £30. Also got nice stuff for SILs, DN and DD2.

MooseyMoo · 23/11/2016 13:35

If you've been searching for Shopkins Christmas Baubles, check your local independent toy shop. I'd been checking Sainsburys but turns out a local independent toy shop had them.

Propermardy · 23/11/2016 13:36

nicecup thanks for the heads up on the Amazon warehouse 20% extra discount, just got a Lego Ninjago junior set for £6 and nerf crossbow for £8! Definitely worth looking, I buy lots of toys from the warehouse deals, yes, the packaging may be a bit battered but I'll just say Rudolph trod on it!

GardenWorm · 23/11/2016 13:43

Aargh Symphony the potential cheap M&S advent has me worried....I bought it as a gift for someone. If they start selling them before December in a bargainous fashion it's going to look like a crap present (and I'll be Angry)

MissRainbowBrite · 23/11/2016 13:56

TopCashBack are offering 20% cash back at Toysrus, its online only and doesn't apply to click and collect.

LikeSilver · 23/11/2016 14:04

Fudge I have several Aldi's nearby. I'll have a look tomorrow and will PM you if I'm successful!

LemonLime11 · 23/11/2016 14:10

Just seen this shared, Star Wars Inflatable sledge, apparently it can also be used in a swimming pool, £13.50 inc postage

BillWagglestaff · 23/11/2016 14:13

Thanks for the docs tip symphony!

Also:

GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 23/11/2016 14:23

Just went into m&s to find the personalised voice recording biscuit tin but alas none there, assume they must've sold out. There seemed to be lots of offers on Christmas biscuit tins etc though.

girl if you want kawaii stationery then it's worth having a look on eBay.com and eBay.couk - there's loads of it. Lots of it is significantly cheaper than you can get it over here.

Last year (haven't checked this year) lots of the stuff was priced the same in pounds and dollars (eg £1.99 and $1.99) so it was cheaper to go through eBay.com rather than .co.uk.

I got loads of cute stuff for 99cents and if you have the patience it's worth looking at the auctions based on finishing soonest - there's often stuff that goes through for a few cents that you can pick up super cheaply.

Rubbers and mini notepads/post its were particularly cheap.

Chocolateteabag · 23/11/2016 14:29

Ooh - my M&S advent calendar is sooooo going back if it goes on sale!!

Obviously I will just wait before I open it not buy one at the sale price then return it with my November receipt ahem

confuugled1 · 23/11/2016 14:32

Reastie I've just come out of one of the M&S stores in MK and they had loads of the tins - I've just bought one for £5 instead of £14.

They were also sampling their new champagne - £16.50 instead of £33 - and very quaffable it was too. I might have had a couple or three to check on it though Xmas Grin

Chocolateteabag · 23/11/2016 14:33

Forgot I was coming one with a bargain

The Book People have Book Monsters for £14.99 (£14.99 plus £2.80P&P on Amazon) - but they also have a spend over £30-50 to get £5-12 off and postage is free over £25. Some of their books are cheaper than Amazon (even with Prime) and you also get a free RHS 2017 calendar if you spend over £40.
Plus Topcashback 8% for new purchasers.

The book monster is fab to hold books/tablets

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 23/11/2016 14:33

Thanks for all the kawaii tips. Worries that if I order from overseas it might not arrive on time. I've left it a little late

macnab · 23/11/2016 14:38

Hi everyone, thanks for all the heads-up so far. I'm on the lookout for some bargainous sports gear for DS - tracksuits and soccer gear - would love to hear of any good deals. Thanks Smile

margaritasbythesea · 23/11/2016 14:47

I have a request to make of the Pokemon wizards out there. Is there a trick to getting a Pikachu card? DS is the only kid in his class without one and itis all getting a bit fraught. TIA.

Aso, if anyone has seen any nice things with mice on coould you please post. They are DDs favourite animal but merchandise is few and far between.

Also a deal. £8.99 on amazon for Melissa and Doug Alphabet Stamp set ATm.

AmyMumsnet · 23/11/2016 14:50

Hi folks,

For anyone who was following our 12 Days of Discounts thread before, Beano listened to your feedback on their offer and they are now pleased to offer Mumsnetters an exclusive deal of 12 Beano issues for £12 with no onward subscription. It's a lovely, relatively cheap stocking filler for anyone with Beano-mad DCs

BowiesBlueEye · 23/11/2016 14:53

Margaritas not sure how bargainous these are but lots of choice

BowiesBlueEye · 23/11/2016 14:58

This coin back is cute too. They are on eBay and Amazon. Mouse coin bank

FallenSky · 23/11/2016 15:02

Margaritas you can buy single cards online although I've had a very quick Google and pikachu seems to be sold out or overpriced. Have a look though as you should be able to find it somewhere. If not you can buy a set like this which has a special edition pikachu card.

AdmiralSnackbar · 23/11/2016 15:08

AmyMumsnet thanks so much for that Beano offer - my children love it, so 12 issues for £12 is brilliant! Thank you Flowers
