My kids have had Fires for a couple of years and they are fab! So impressed.

I would recommend getting bigger memory though, after 2 years we struggle with our 8 GB one and have to limit Apps etc

Lovemusic33 · 23/11/2016 09:49

I think the fire tablets are a bargain for younger kids, 8gb is ok as long as they don't want loads of apps.

asuwere · 23/11/2016 10:04

SnowBody - I mentioned on the last thread, I preordered the mini NES a few weeks ago from Amazon and delivery was set for mid December. I got an email yesterday saying they were now coming in early next week.

However, not sure if that delivery will be only for those who preordered but might be worth looking early next week.

Badders123 · 23/11/2016 10:19

Go into your local game store
I managed to Pre order one a couple
Of weeks ago

trixymalixy · 23/11/2016 10:23

Dozy, I'll swap you my boden code for your next code!

Ooh I have those bowls neddle, I luffs them - particularly the handy measuring spoons on top! I also really want that fujifilm instax for myself.

Amazon have a Sylvanian Families seaside restaurant reduced to £27 in a lightning deal - it's already 45% claimed so you'll need to be quick!

TheDrsDocMartens · 23/11/2016 10:50

The new fires seem to have a memory card slot so check that as you can then expand in the future

flatmouse · 23/11/2016 10:59

I had an email from Apple too - didn't actually say it was doing discounts on Friday but implied that Friday is the day to shop. Hoping to get a deal somewhere on iWatch series2.

aunicornisnotjustforchristmas · 23/11/2016 10:59

I got the 8gb but will stick in a memory card for extra storage. £10 for an extra 8gb is a lot imo

ASpiderInTheManger · 23/11/2016 11:00

Last year my dd asked for a 'my friend Kayla' doll but at £50 I couldn't really justify it, however they are £19.99 in home bargains at the moment so I've got her one for Christmas. I think that's a great price for them (it's basically an interactive doll).

Does anyone know what happens if I need to return one of my tesco 3 for 2 toys? My mil has bought dd the same thing. I wonder if I'll get a refund or if I'll have to return all the toys? Because essentially one of them was free, so would they be willing to refund any? Any advice gratefully received.

Rockchick1984 · 23/11/2016 11:02

I think it's exchange or vouchers with the Tesco 3 for 2, they wouldn't refund as you'd basically have got BOGOF on the other 2 items.

BillWagglestaff · 23/11/2016 11:03

Hello,

This thread has made me more organised than I have ever been before about Christmas. Thank you!

If anyone knows of any Dr Marten discounts or ASOS codes, it would be much appreciated. :)

AFingerofFudge · 23/11/2016 11:07

Big ask - wondering if anyone that lives near an Aldi will be going in tomorrow? They're selling "Kevin the Carrot" from the advert, for £2.99 of which all profits go to Barnardo's.
DS3 would love one but we don't live near an Aldi. I could drive to the closest one after I've dropped them at school but I'm worried they'd be sold out by the time I got there!.
Anyway, if there was anyone who would be happy to send one then I would obviously cover all costs, postage, jiffy bag etc etc. Could send money by paypal.

I bet they'll turn up on ebay at highly inflated prices but hate the thought of people making big money out of something that is supposed to be a charity thing.

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 23/11/2016 11:33

Aldi do free delivery from their website. Is Kevin the carrot on there?

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 23/11/2016 11:38

It is on the website but it isn't avaliable online.

firsttimer12345 · 23/11/2016 11:41

Where are you fudge?
We have one just round the corner and I'm eyeing up that 40 year old tawny port. Didn't have any today so hopefully tomorrow.

AdmiralCLingus · 23/11/2016 11:45

Just managed to get pokemon sun for £27. Amazon emailed me to say if I bought using the prime now app I could have £5 off. Not a massive saving but pleased as it's selling for £35 in most of the places I looked

ZIGGY911 · 23/11/2016 12:33

Just a hint, I've bought apple products today from both John Lewis and currys. Both will match and refund Black Friday offers, so I know I've now got my item no matter what and won't have the panic if it sells out.

Lolly12 · 23/11/2016 12:34

More Zootropolis bargains at Clintons www.clintonsretail.com/search/?q=Zootropolis I popped into a store yesterday and got the breakfast set for £1.99.

Their website is not the easiest to see what's on offer, but looks like Finding Dory stuff is half price too www.clintonsretail.com/gifts/finding-dory-range

Haudyerwheesht · 23/11/2016 12:38

Littlebird.co.uk are selling scoota beamz which are basically lights which attach to the front of a child's scooter - reduced to £3.49 with free delivery

SideOrderofSprouts · 23/11/2016 12:51

Aquadoodles reduced
