Does anyone remember the book on one page posters from the book people? £5 for 4 themed?

I was at the country living Christmas fair last weekend and there was a stall selling the exact same ones for £24.99! It was their only product...they did have larger ones too which were even more expensive. I felt like taking people to one side and having a quiet word. They were definitely exactly the same, I recognised the book sets and pictures.

Yes btw that was £24.99 EACH...

GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 27/11/2016 15:58

Managed to pick up a fire stick for £13.47 on Black Friday for DD's TV Shock Tesco had them down to just under £25, but combined with my discount and Clubcard vouchers, it soon turned into a bloody good bargain. I may just be able to snatch my living room TV back from the little madam after Christmas now! Also managed to get her a purple Kindle Fire tablet for £29.99, so I'm thinking she is pretty much done!

For any Tsum Tsum lovers - I was in Clintons yesterday and I got a till print out with my receipt. They're offering 20% off to customers who go online and review them - valid on everything in store. Clintons have a very good range of small plush Tsum Tsum's (£3.50 each) and some of them are hard to come by at that price online. I'll be able to complete DD's Beauty and the Beast collection and grab her some Christmas ones for her stocking a bit cheaper this way!

Nintendo NES - Stock informer is the way to go with their very loud alarm. I ate, slept and showered with my laptop right next to me 2 years ago in the hopes of getting hold of a Snow Glow Elsa doll. Anyone else remember what a ball ache those things were in 2014?! The alarm went off at gone 3am one morning alerting me to Tesco having stock, and I was able to grab one quickly. I nearly ended up in hospital with fucking heart failure because of the noise, but DD was super happy come Christmas morning, so... Xmas Grin I'm back to carting my laptop around with me everywhere in the house in the name of getting one. I'm hopeful Tesco will come through again. The worst of it is it's a totally selfish present for myself, all in the name of reliving my youth! Xmas Blush

aunicornisnotjustforchristmas · 27/11/2016 16:51

Woohoo reastie
Dh ordered himself an Xbox one this morning so he will not be getting a mini nes, we are drowning in consoles as it is! Secretly gutted as I quite liked the look of one.

LavateLasManos · 27/11/2016 16:58

We've got a USB NES controller and just plug that into the laptop and go on www.nintendoemulator.com/nes/
Has almost every game you can think of for NES and SNES.
May be useful for anyone who can't get hold of the mini version.

Save £5 on selected Lego costumes on Amazon, with code legocostume5.
I can't find a list of all applicable items, but it works on this one.
T&cs say they have to be sold by Amazon and not a 3rd party seller.

Iggi999 · 27/11/2016 17:55

So... might this stock controller site wake me up tomorrow morning to tell me I can get an iPad mini deal? Sounds good!

SheStoodInTheStorm · 27/11/2016 18:04

I received a code for a friend at The White Company - 20% off and free delivery
AO161.
I am not sure if it's one time only use or not.

Never bought anything from there, anything I should take a look at? Will have another Code available if I don't want anything!

Millie2013 · 27/11/2016 18:09

Hello, are there any Molton Brown offers on at the moment please? (other than on their website). I got a bargain last year, but forget where from! I need something for the man who had everything, but loves MB. Thank you :)

BeaLola · 27/11/2016 18:10

[chocolatereabag] can I ask where you found the 30% Emma bridgewater code as best I can do is 20%, thank you

Kirriemuir · 27/11/2016 18:32

John Lewis had 20% off Molton brown yesterday.

CarrotVan · 27/11/2016 18:48

Popped into Hobbycraft earlier and their clearance section is great - lots of kits for Gruffalo/ Thomas/ Frozen/ Minions/ Paw Patrol etc craft and art, loads of nice baking stuff including a fab set of measuring cups and spoons in bright colours for £1, and lots of glittery initial letters with hanging loops. Also found sun catcher kits for 50p-£2

moonbabyandthebeast · 27/11/2016 18:48

I have a (i presume, single use),very code im not going to use- £30 off a £60 spend
with ur first credit order if anyone is interested? Also oh wise shoppers- I have just helped 3 yr old DD compose her letter to Santa and it includes "a toy that bounces as high as the ceiling" ! Any bright (and obviously bargainous!) ideas would b very welcome.

CarrotVan · 27/11/2016 19:10

A bouncy ball? And a lesson on the forces of motion

verytiredmummy1 · 27/11/2016 19:25

Has everyone else needed to sign up for a next credit account to get the £10 off £15 at next?

Badders123 · 27/11/2016 19:27

Nope
I paid through PayPal

Millie2013 · 27/11/2016 19:31

Thank you, Kirrie :)

verytiredmummy1 · 27/11/2016 19:39

It doesn't even give me the choice to pay through PayPal :(

Questionsquestionsquestions · 27/11/2016 19:57

Can I ask a possibly silly technical question? I would usually ask DH but this is for his present...I've got him an Amazon fire stick for the tv in our room, but as it's a slightly older tv it doesn't have an hdmi socket. If I buy this adaptor thing will it do the job of converting?

RJnomore1 · 27/11/2016 20:43

The fire stick plugs into a USB port?

cowssheephens · 27/11/2016 20:48

I would love a next voucher.
