Really RJ? Everything I read about it on the Amazon page says it's an HDMI port...I'm very confused now! Though the tv doesn't have a usb port either - so no sure which adaptor I need to get now! Anyone knowledgeable who can help/confirm the type of port? It's the fire stick rather than fire tv if that makes a difference?

Do you need Internet for the fire stick to work?

You would need a hdmi to USB connector but I don't know if it would work.

It definitely plugs into the HDMI port, not a USB.

question you would need a hdmi to scart converter I think oh and a scart lead (if you don't have one) the picture quality won't be as good and also they need a power source as does the fire stick so you need to have plug sockets quite near the tv.

Thanks curried that was me. I was so frustrated as had a couple of ideas and was praying for a decent NOTHS code but sadly it was pretty poor. It would have sorted a few presents.

New technical dilemma (which is actually not that technical, I'm just hopeless) DH likes listening to audio books while driving. I want to get him some sports autobiographies but the only ones I can find are on kindle. Could he listen to it in the car? Why are they coming up as free? Surely that can't be right? Would it be a good idea to buy a kindle and load it with audiobooks?
