Smyths have been just as bad as Argos re the nes. Mines was ordered ages ago to be here 14th November. On 17th they emailed me to say it would be here week beginning 21st. On Thursday they emailed to say it would be hereby tomorrow. I'm hoping it might turn up by dhs February birthday as I don't think Christmas is likely by now.

But I'm furious because I ordered months ago. I'm feeling I've been strung along.

Help needed please! I need a birthday/Christmas present for my aunt who is turning 70 the week before Christmas. She's very good in that she never forgets dc's birthdays even though we only see her a couple of times a year.
She's diabetic and celiac and also a nun. Other than that I don't really know.

I've had no cancellation from Argos yet so I'm crossing everything. 2.5 hours until it's due to be ready for collection so I'm poised waiting for the confirmation for collection email (although not collecting until tomorrow)

I pre ordered a nes from game - £10 deposit - was to told it would be arriving 22/11 - nope now saying Dec 31st!!!

So I've asked other family members for game vouchers so they can hopefully get it after Xmas

I got mine from argos on Fri but I was able to choose our local store which said available immediately rather than one of the ones which said collect in 4/5 days. I figured that was a safer bet. I got it fine (although was most disappointed by the woman who handed it over without so much as a nod to how momentous the occasion was - didn't she realise that I was about to reclaim my life now that I had this in my hands?!)
