Presents for a 10 yr old boy £50

My parents want to spend around £50 on DS for Christmas. They would like it to be one "main" present really. DS is just turning 10. He loves gaming (PS4), gadgets, science (already has a microscope), running, Cubs/scouts, coding (already has a raspberry pi). He's not into football, or toys much anymore really, although loves Lego (has masses already though) and snapcircuits.

We are getting him a laptop and other people have bought him a chemistry set, kindle, Fitbit.

Any ideas please???

He also likes photography and has a Canon DSLR camera.

skylanders imaginators?

DoItTooJulia · 21/11/2016 12:58

Actually, code bugs are pretty cool.

The Lego NXT robots are phenomenal but they're ££££.

Scooter?

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 21/11/2016 17:33

I looked at the Amazon Echo Dot, but couldn't work out what it was actually for? He has a telescope, Dimensions, lots of nerf guns, scooter, skateboard. My SIL has got him an animation studio thingy. Trouble is he's an only child and only grandchild on both sides and only nephew too, so he has been bought lots over the years. And he also has a December birthday. Keep the ideas coming though as they are helping Smile

I'm getting it because my (11yo) ds is getting into music and he hasn't really got any way to listen to any. But he's going to live saying 'Alexa, play Bob Marley' 'Alexa what's the weather like today?' And you can buy plugs so that it can control lamps/play stations whatever.

There's a video on Amazon if you click on the item and scroll through the photos, the last one is a video.

It's a good gift because it illicit extras-like the plugs, a Spotify subscription and it's great to say to grandparents/whoever ooh yeah, he'd love a Spotify gift card, or the plugs.!

Terrible typing, sorry!

nephew is 10 and asked for a nerf modulus

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 21/11/2016 21:40

A NES mini would be perfect, but sold out everywhere. Fingers crossed they come back into stock soon Grin
