I volunteered to get the girls in my daughters class their gift from Santa. It's maximum spend of £2 each. I'm not coming up with many exciting ideasGrin
I've thought if a sticker book, maybe a shopkins one. My dd (7) likes shopkins but I'm not sure if it's really aimed at a younger audience.Thoughts?
Any other ideas?
Many thanks

Claires accessories have a buy 1 get 1 free offer on across the whole website if that's any use to you.

Have a look at The Book people. You can buy sets of books quite cheaply. Maybe add in some sweets.

Claire's Accesories - hair Accesories etc

Pretty notebooks, pens etc

Two pieces of Christmassy tat from Poundland? Grin e.g. One chocolate/sweetie gift plus a colouring book or whatever else nice they might have?

Artandco · 15/11/2016 10:43

I would do a book and some chocolate also.

Book people for 10 books for £10 usually. So book each and some chocolate coins or similar

At that age, I'd expect stationery to be a winner. Something like a fancy pencil, sharpener or rubber that was chosen by Santa, that they'll use for ages after the big day. Wow!

Superdrug have a range called flutter and I've bought my 8 year old daughter a couple of bits as stocking fillers. They have bath confetti and bath bombs for £1 each and they are really nicely packaged. Also a photo frame for £2 from the same range.

I've just been into Home Bargains - lots of lovely notebooks for 50p-£1. Bags of choc coins, Santa's etc for around 69p, chocolate "bank note" bar for 79p, plastic reusable popcorn boxes (either 69 or 79p cant remember) , packs of microwave popcorn 29p. Cheap mugs and xmas glasses etc

Worth a visit of you have one nearby.

Aliexpress.com very good for many things their staionary is very cute. It's chinese ebay. I don't know what 8 yr girls like so not going to suggest other things. It does take a long delivery time so contact a seller with good scores. I've just had two deliveries that took 12 days direct from China and that is fast normal delivery.

domesticslattern · 15/11/2016 19:55

Key rings go down well with that age group.

Sgtmajormummy · 15/11/2016 19:58

Have you got a Tiger shop near you?
Lots of cute Scandi tat that girls that age would enjoy like stationery, dressing up stuff, picture frames...
I got DD a little white pottery "Morf" man with a pod of grass seeds in his head. €2, so probably £1.50 in the UK. It sprouted in about three days and looks really cool with its shock of brilliant green hair.
I'm sure we'll keep the holder when the grass eventually dies.

LightLoveLaughter you won the internet today with dotcomgift shop. I got each girl a pen, rubber, a paper bird decoration and a novelty lip Balm! I think I (we) did really well Grin
Thanks everyone, hope this helps someone else too, really great ideas!
