I would like to get my DC a set of audio books each for Christmas. My DS is 8 and DD is 4.

I did consider getting DS the Roald Dahl set but he's already read most of the books anyway. He would like something either funny or action packed. Ones I'm eyeing up are Paddington, Tom Gates, David Walliams or Michael Morpurgo. Any views on these?

My DD already has the Mr Men audio books. She has a lot of the Julia Donaldson books anyway so not that. Any other recommendations?

The Percy park keeper ones by nick butterworth went down well with my 4 year old.

My children love the Famous Five stories. We have a few but this one was their favourite.

When they were younger they also liked these short stories but the 8 year old will still listen to them now.
