Best dolls house for Barbie-sized dolls?

Both DDs like the Barbie sized dolls including the Disney princess and DC Superhero Girls dolls, so I want a big dolls house that they'll fit in with tall rooms for Xmas. Am I best getting one of the Barbie houses or I've seen some Kidcraft ones which also look good?

I would avoid the Barbie ones (they are awfully pink and plasticky and do not age well IMO). Definitely get a large wooden one and they should get years of use out if it. Try ELC for their Manor House (it is often on offer at 50% off so don't pay full price). If not, Kidcraft are nice. I have bought my DD one (second hand) for her birthday in December and it came with about 10 pieces of wooden furniture.

I bought dd1 last year, and it's a kid craft. I got mine from Costco.

I got dd a kidkraft one last year. Much nicer than the plastic ones. Dd loves it and it's played with daily. Lots of different styles.
