I'm trying to come up with a gift idea for my 36yo female close relative - which should be easy as it's more or less my age so therefore I should know what sort of thing to get. Except our circumstances are very different - she is single, no children, shares house with another family member. Used to be an avid traveller but not in last few years. Likes gardening / nature / being outdoors. Any suggestions please? Budget £20ish. Thanks :-)

Lovely warm socks if she's outdoorsy.
Smartwool and Bridgedale make good ones. I work outside a lot, and play outside a lot. Can never have too many warm socks - high wool
content a must.

How about the Tim Peake book? Amazing pictures from space. It's what I'm asking for :)

Molten Brown handwash. Smells gorgeous, gets used up slowly, so doesn't add to clutter, but lasts long enough to feel good.

Id agree with the Molton brown it's always a treat (im her age)

Good secateurs (you get what you pay for, so up to your budget).

A lovely bag of bulbs from Sarah Raven.

A personalised Ordnance Survey map centred on her home.

A beautiful pot for planting things in.

Gardening gloves.

A brilliant little knife, eg Opinel brand.

If she wears hats, Barts have some gorgeous ones for about £20-25. Or if she's into makeup-an eyeshadow palette or similar. Or some Laura mercier hand cream-they used to do a delicious smelling creme brûlée one, not sure if still available.
