Can anybody recommend a lovely old fashioned Christmas music cd?

define old fashioned? I got "rockin around the christmas tree" 3 cd set years ago that's all 50s/60s Christmas tunes!

Might not be old fashioned enough but the Michael Bublé one is my fave.

I want crackling fires and a vintage snowed in feel. My old cd did just that but can't for the life of me remember what it was. Could try a bit of Buble.

And do you remember a few years ago the BBC did a reality X factor style show called 'The Choir'? It was won by a gospel choir and they put out a Christmas CD, it's brilliant.
We also love Chorals for Christmas Handel/Bach - For unto us a child is born. Renaissance style and best of all, when played in the air the DCs all sing along to it as 'We want some Chinese pork!' - small pleasures.....

If you're wanting carols, the Downton Abbey Christmas CD is wonderful.

Our tradition is the Spector one mentioned above. Love it.

The Now Christmas CD has one disc of stuff from last 30 years and the other disc is older stuff, IIRC.

Someone has beaten me to recommending the Downton one. I absolutely love it
