What are you ordering from Booths this year?

I'm doing my order this weekend but want to order everything. I always get a big gammon as it's the nicest gammon I've ever tasted. And I get a bit carried away with the puddings.

Last year they did a fish pie mix in a kilner jar but that's not in the book this year. And I'm a bit meh about getting a cooked fish pie as they're not all that different really.

Anyway, I'm curious as to what other Christmas food people buy from Booths. Temped by the wild boar haunch for Christmas dinner but not sure if the kids will be impressed.

Oh, we can't do Booths this year but I had my eye on the Christmas cake cheesecake. I'm jealous

Ohhhhhh look at all those cakes and desserts... I haven't even thought about Christmas food shopping yet as sadly I have Hyperemesis Gravidarum which is rather putting me off food. This means DH will likely be in charge of cooking... I think this year's Christmas lunch will be toast at this rate :(

Oh no, Four. I hope it ends soon. How pregnant are you? I was really sick with DD, but not HG; just being sick multiple times a day. Not nice. I feel for you.

Nearly 11 weeks... hoping for an end of trimester Christmas miracle. I'd love to be able to feel festive rather than nauseated!

I really, really love Christmas ... and a big part of that is the food for me. But, over a month to go. Plenty of time to be feeling much better :)

Didn't know they did national delivery at Christmas, just looking now, the puddings look delicious!! X

In fact Waitrose have 21 stores within 35 miles of Manchester! (Formby is the furthest)

I picked up a book on a trip to Ripon, purely to drool over, but haven't made an order. Splitting order between M&S and an absolutely stupendous localish farm, this year.

I couldn't wait so after drooling over the Booths website all evening, I've just placed my order . A Goosnargh chicken, an unsmoked gammon joint (great tip about slicing into steaks OP), cheese, cheese and cheese, christmas pud and I may have got a little over excited with the gorgeous looking mini puds/desserts!

The Formby Waitrose feels a bit run down; it's like they just don't bother trying to compete with the loveliness of Booths!
